You made my dad happy , I lived with my dad years ago and every night we listened to fantastic mr fox and this , thank you. Sadly he is now deceased but you made us happy ( this was our favourite one ) ❤️

I read this book in the mid eighties when at junior school. It was the first book that imbued a sense of visual imagery in my mind.
It was quite profound and it played like a film. I just wanted to know more, it was a page turner.
This book taught me that reading was an enjoyable and fun experience. A lesson I am eternally grateful for.
Roald Dahl was an extremely important writer, who I know lit the imagination of many a young child’s mind.
I’m glad I was of that generation who got to experience it first hand.

When I was in fourth grade, I went on a trip to Alaska with my grandma, and she bought me a set of Roald Dahl books. This one was always my favorite! Thank you for sharing this, the story just crossed my mind last night and I was so pleased when I saw it was available to be listened to!!
