Teachers LOVE a good t-shirt, and I realized I could turn that into a side gig. I used Crafted Threads for hilarious teacher-themed designs, grabbed a Cricut printer off Amazon, and started selling them to colleagues. It began as a joke, but now I’m selling to teachers across the district and even funding classroom supplies with the profits. If you're in education, this is a fantastic side hustle!
Hey, Alek! I'm thriteen and you have inspired me to start my own POD on Etsy, and hopefully have the shop running in a few days. All I want to say is thank you for the amazing tips and teaching me how to begin.
One of those t shirt listings had a lyric from an Eagles hit, “on a dark desert highway cool wind in my hair”. Isn’t this a copyright infringement? It had a lot of sales. Great video, thanks. Best wishes, Colin.
As a broke college student with a creative streak, I decided to start a simple t-shirt business. Here's my pipeline for success: Crafted Threads for the design bundle, Amazon for a budget-friendly heat press (or borrow one like I did!), and campus events for my marketplace. Now I’m selling witty shirts that are covering my coffee habit AND my textbooks. It’s been a game changer!
Previously I aimed to create at least 100 listings before judging whether I will continue doing at etsy or not. But yesterday I just came across a store with 250+ listings but only got 16 sales! That store looks professional with great designs and mockups. I'm only at 7 listings currently and I don't know if I should continue or not...
you should definitely try out wooden decor products. they’re super promising, especially if you’re selling on etsy. the demand for these kinds of items stays steady all year round, so it’s a great category to tap into!
What? All of those do different things. I use Figma, but most like Canva. ProductFlint is much more affordable than Alura, but I'm building my own tool that will be out soon
Hi Alek, can you please address those who are asking about the Product Uploader on your website not working. It doesn't seem to recognise any products being in our Printify Stores currently, even after we link our tokens. Thanks, from the UK
Hi Alek, I have been following your videos for awhile now, and they are always so clear and really make me think that I could do this! I have just received your email about the the Printify Amplified 2024 and straight away I Have used your code and have got my ticket, very excited to see the conference and to hear all the tips you have to offer. I see that I have a chance to win a free copy of your course. I know this is very bold of me but I would really appreciate a chance to win this free copy, you see I don't live in the United States and so while your course maybe reasonable there the exchange rate here kills me, I was planning to save up for it, but I would love an opportunity to learn more as soon as possible, but totally understand if this is not possible. Thanks for the Great content anyway!!! Have a great day!!!
Hey Alek, really nice video ! I was wondering if I could help you with more Quality Editing in your videos and also make a highly engaging Thumbnail and also help you with the overall youtube strategy and growth ! Pls let me know what do you think ?

Thanks Alek 🙂Very valuable video..Best whishes from Germany, Badre
I want to start with Etsy but not with T-shirt. Do you recommend any potential products for Etsy?

@@duyenhoang10402 I want to sell this item on Etsy too, but I don't know which provider can offer for my Etsy store. Any suggests for me?
Out of everything u know, would u start with POD like printful or Etsy, digital product on Etsy? or something better?
Alek i just got some question do we need to sell only one nich for one shop ? Is that necessary
Hey Alek, why did you shift from Figma and Alur to Canva and Productflint?
What? All of those do different things. I use Figma, but most like Canva. ProductFlint is much more affordable than Alura, but I'm building my own tool that will be out soon
Hi Alek great information
Great Video 👍
Which is a better tool? Alura or Product Flint?
I'm building a tool for keyword & shop research which I personally think will be the best. It'll be out soon.
How are people able to sell shirts for 7$? I’m starting out and don’t get how to compete with those listings that are so much cheaper

I can't speak to every situation, but we're working on updated for stability which will hopefully be out soon.
@@alekSheffy That's great to know it is still being worked on. Thx for the reply
