Great video as always! Thank you. I seem to have skipped over some nice tables this month so seeing them here sure makes me try them. The World Joker Tour is one of them. It is cool that JPSalas modeled it from a real home brew pinball machine rethemed from a World Poker Tour.
Great Video! I particuarilly liked the SuperMan Justice league from Marty02. That guy keeps making great tables, I'm still getting a kick out of his Wonka table. The Joker Poker looks fun too!
Thanks again for your monthly update. That Superman table looks amazing...or better said Super. 😅 Will also checkout the Joker. So much to do and so little time 😁
Right? I spend too much time doing these videos instead of playing! LOL I literally have to remind myself to take time to play these! CHECK actually has gotten the most time from me! I busted out 71K on it, and I was proud of that!
Awesome as always man, keep it up. Minor note, you were asking the question of if you need an arts degree as a table creator while talking about World Joker Tour, but the thing about that one is that that's not original artwork, that's actually a recreation of a real graphics mod you can do to the real World Poker Tour table (the pack includes like decals for the playfield and a replacement trans lite etc). So for World Joker Tour it's much like the others where it's built from examples taken from a real table. Just a bit of trivia for you 🤘
Nice vid man ! What a month indeed ! Your pincab is amazing; congratulations ! The Superman table looks absolutly stunning.. In fact all the tables are... Can't believe how the guys can do such perfect recreations (or original creations), it's another level, how much years the community have spent on VPX creation for doing this ? It's awesome ! I haven't play for maybe 3 years on pinball cause i was tired of FX3. It's a cool game, but this month i decided to go back and take a look, what a great idea i had. We have the same tastes : Pinball M is very good. The thing is absolutly terrifying, Chucky's too, System Schock as well. ... Great game overall.. But man compared to VPX, it's not even close of what you get. Sounds, feeling, physics... I wish you great times with your new pincab man. See you next time ! Peace
Indeed!! TBH - Hollywood Heat might be my favorite this month! I think Bram Stoker's Dracula is probably the "best" table, but man is it hard. It's a very tough table, with a lot of quick drains.
Excellent question! It's a whole... THING. A real wormhole to go down that road, but SO worth it! The easiest way (and how I started) was just using a PC and playing on that, using the keyboard shift keys to move the flippers. There are many virtual pinball programs to get you familiar with it (Pinball FX, Pinball Arcade, VPX, etc). What you see here on my video is the Legends 4K pinball. A complete pre-built unit that not only comes with many tables included (20+), but has the additional feature of allowing me to hook up my PC (which you see on the left) to play HUNDREDS of other tables (like you see on my video). You can google Legends 4K pinball to see it. Also - In my video description, I have a link to a great video about starting out in virtual pinball, a RUclips channel called the Crafty Craftsman.
@@digitalvictory8266 I have been fascinated by virtual pinball ever since Space Cadet came out in Windows 95. I have a CNC that I built myself, and have been playing with the idea of making one out of MDF or ply. A purely mechanical table, maybe with something like an Arduino for lighting. But I think the digital route is more appealing due to the many games option.
Unfortunately, much like World Poker Tour, this homebrew reskin doesn't working inserts or LED display with the recent versions of vpinmame. Would love it if they get it sorted out one of these days... these tables are pretty nice.
I don't *think* so, but I don't know officially. It's understanding that they're moving forward on the 4K platform for all new major releases. I hope I'm wrong though.
Do you have a PC hookup via OTG? Then all the VPX tables will work great for ya! (The only exceptions are the Zen and Pinball M tables I showed, they are made specifically for the 4K - ALTHOUGH they're of course available on PC - which again, you can play via OTG).
@@joeybeaulieu8123 @joeybeaulieu8123 I really wanted to include it, I even did the video footage of it, but I'll be honest with you - it was just too non-family friendly! And I don't say that in a bad way, cause I really dig it. And once the vid got over 15 minutes, I started looking for where to cut. It was a bit TOO Halloweeny!
No, sadly, I didn't make one. I think I've reached the end of my RUclips journey. It's been a passion project from the start, something I've enjoyed doing and was fired up and inspired. But in the past 6 months or so, it turned into something I felt obligated to do - it became work. That's when I knew the end was near. My videos take a lot of time and effort (downloading the tables & backglasses, installing them, configuring them, hoping they work right the first time, making artwork, filming the play, filming the closeups, filming the tutorials, doing voice-overs, adding graphics, and that's before I even get to the video production/editing! LOL It just takes a lot of time and effort than I'd rather put elsewhere. It got to the point where I wasn't finding time to PLAY pinball, LOL Mind you - if I was making BIG bucks - that'd be different, Hahahahahah!! But that's not the case. It's been a hell of a run (I think 3 years) and it's been a lot of fun, but I'm pretty much done making videos. IF for some reason I get inspired, I will jump back in and make some more, but for now, safe to say it's the end of the road. I do plan on keeping the channel active, and will certainly answer comments, etc. Thanks again for watching and reaching out! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
You have the coolest VP channel. You do a good job covering so much A-Z. Your new table looks awesome btw. I hope to buy one over the next year.
Thanks Eric - that means a lot. I really appreciate the kind words.
I hope you get yours, man, you'll love it!
Thanks Ed! This is the one video each month I look forward to the most!

My pleasure, PixelGuy! Appreciate ya!
Some of these VP tables look so insane! From the video the ball physics look on point here. Thanks for the coverage really appreciate it 😊
