But then he starts to sing off-key and than starts to find his way back to singing in tune, but still without enough "power". He should've found a song that suited his voice better. And, of course, he needs to be in tune!

HE sings in the same key as Dickinson, you are right in that he sings much closer to Bruce than Rob, He has a more 'air raid' tone that Bruce is famous for, not Rob Halford.

If he was going to do Priest, he should have picked something a little more poppy (if you want to call it that-maybe mainstream) like Livin' After Midnite or You Got Another Thing Comin'. Painkiller, and Screaming For Vengeance would be tough for just about ANYONE to do! My props to the guy for trying!

he's way too low, but I don't think he shoul have gone with a more poppy song, the problem isn't his quality, it's just that his voice is too low, maybe could have gone with some blaze bayley song, probably would have made it sound better, because it's more fit for a lower base voice.
Personally he should’ve picked a different song from Judas Priest. Painkiller is awesome but requires the whole song and a devastating voice to back it. They aren't "extremely high" The highest note in the entire song is a G5, anyone with training can hit that note ( many untrained singers can also hit and sustain it too)
