Tbh Rider's lullabye was the only reason I gave this show a chance. I didn't expect much after seeing the trailer, then I found her song and was like "Fuck it, maybe it wont be so bad"

I found the nowhere king’s song randomly on Spotify, and it intrigued me enough to start watching it last night. The second I saw her song, I knew I was gonna love it. I watched the entire show in one go.

Centaurworld was... a lot, to say the least, but the songs and animations were undeniably top tier all the way through

I hated when they threw away character development in S2. Chat is pretty much the least likable character I’ve ever seen in an animated show. 😥 BUT, yeah, animation and songs were 👌🏻
I knew I recognised Horse and Rider's VAs from somewhere! They were the original Broadway cast of Waitress as Dawn and Jenna respectively

Riders Lullaby is so perfect. I love Jessie Mueller, and I know a lot of powerful singers but I think her voice fits this perfectly. Her lullaby has few words, and is mostly just a harmony. She doesn’t need words because Horse is a horse, and most likely wouldn’t understand a fully worded song. But she does understand that Rider’s voice is calming to her.
Hold it. This show has songs?? Music?? And why does it look so nicely animated?

One of those shows that needs a few episodes to really get into the things, and then you realise WHY it needed a few episodes to start getting going.
I feel like riders lullaby is the highlight of centaurworld bc horse uses it and its like the main song besides the actual theme song

It is like undertale using a single motif for like half the songs, rider's lullaby is not only a callback, it is also a way to connect the songs together, IMO, THE BEST SONGS in the series either uses the rider's motif, or the king's motif

@@zulius7707 the boat song is a bit iffy for me, that and frustration tears are a bit too much for me, perfect for the show, not much for replay
Horse and Rider reuniting is so wholesome it gives me so much happy chemicals
I loved the inclusion of Nothing Good.
Though I was sorely missing the tree sage's song.
Welcome to the Bay is certainly the best and most emotional heavy song of the show. The nuances that I carries behind a apparently happy-go-lucky song are so incredible. Every song of this show carries alot of meaning that you don't realize right away, but when you do... wow, they sure caught you off guard.
this really is a show you gotta give a good chance and just “trust the process”
I agree with your choices here, I just wish there were more but I think that just speaks to the quality of the songs in Centaurworld. Like even the worst songs are still relatively tolerable and the overall quality is pretty great.
Only song that’s intolerable to me is “he never said anything nice”
@@a_person5668 kinda blocked that one out of my head. I think it’s telling that durpletons talking farts never came up in season 2. It’s like even the writers hated it.
I agree, and like at the same time, i feel like Centaurworld is the type of show (i know there are a lot. more ways to describe it,) that you can choose favorite songs, but you can’t have one that you hate so much-

Haha yeah. I didnt actually intend that lol. I love that one but my favorite is "What if I Forget Your Face." "Rainbow Road" is my second.
I want a season 3 too, but it ended perfectly on season 2 to be fine with the end of it
@@corbettbalcaitis it would be nice to have an adventure series though because im being honest here i have been rewatching the show almost 30 times no joke i love it so much and i would be really happy with some new scenes and jokes but ya s2 did end really well honestly I couldn't have thought of a better ending and centaurworld deserves an award for best final in any animated show 👏👏👏

Yeah, season 1 felt a little more contained. Whereas 2 was just a continuation, with its good songs largely pulling from pre-existing ones. Battle Round is probably the best in the entire series though.

Sooooo I've never heard of this series before but I heard the nowhere king's lullaby and kinda fell into the fever dream that is centaurworld but i've only seen clips... and a lot of songs... and- a- gooey, eskelleton head... thing? (the nowhere king) so can someone of you my fellow youtube adicts tell me your opinion of this series? also is the singing a regular thing in every episode?... cuz I'm not sure I'll be able to stand miss horse and co breaking into songs everyy five minutes per episode 0 __ 0
The songs aren’t super duper common. There’s about 1 an episode. I don’t really recommend skipping them because they add to the story but if you really can’t stand them you might be ok? I do recommend the series though. It’s super enjoyable and full of beautiful animation and an investing plot! :) have a great day!

Possible answer:the nowhere king himself probably made the song himself in his twisted state and his minotaur army could he singing it as a sort of war chant to scare both the humans and centaurs during their wars
