am i being delusional or is this really a great, cheap option for achieving retro aesthetic? Among all those 2000s cameras, do you think this is the best one in terms giving this film-esque look?
I think you're absolutely right about this being a camera to achieve a retro aesthetic. I personally found this HP Photosmart to have one of the quirkiest looks amongst the digital camera's I've tested. The combo of noise, image resolution, and the lens all make for a pretty 'unclean' image, and I think you can use that to fit your style. I don't really find it looks like film, though.
Hi! I haven't used that camera before so I'm not familiar with it, but I did find chargers for the m425 on eBay and Amazon. I hope you'll find one that works for you, and would love if you let us know how your search goes.
i just got this camera off ebay and it said it was working. I got a 2 GB sd card and it’s saying that it’s not supported. Is there a specific one i need to be using?
This camera supports SDHC (Secure Digital High Capacity). Lots of new higher capacity cards are the SDXC (Secure Digital Extended Capacity), which aren't supported. The manual for this camera says up to 8GB cards can be used, but I would guess that you might able to use a 16GB to 32GB card as long as it's SDHC.
It continually auto-adjusts the exposure until you press the shutter button half down, so you don't have to change anything, but you can try to control the exposure by locking with the half press and re-framing. Otherwise it's pretty automatic.
I bought one, but when I take the photo the photo comes out very white, why is it?
What brand of batteries ...

The camera supports SDHC cards, but not SDXC cards. Do you know which you have?
Recently just thrifted this camera and was having a hard time finding a SD card, what type of sd card would you recommend?

Do I need to make any additional camera settings?

Y video?
It does record video, but I didn't test it out. I'd love to see what you discover.
