I agree! I was getting GIR, only to lose the hole in putting. I took a month trying and studying putters. Putters have degrees of toe hang shaft length and lofts. I’m getting my eyes over the putter better with a shallow putting arc because of my build. I was using a anser putter, but found a mallet worked better for feel. I’m using an odyssey ai one 7ch with 10 degrees of toe hang and three degrees of loft. Putter is flat to the ground , ball leaves the face without a hop. I’m lagging better and the short putts are mine. Still working on chipping. ✌️
Putting is tough and I think is the last part of the game which needs to be perfected in order to break par. Many people try many different putters and grips, but I think in the end you have to find your own way, it takes time, good luck!
