@@DieterSchneider when you think about it, houses have been built without housewrap for a long time. pretty sure frank lloyd wright didnt use it. but i'm just saying, according to my experience of best practices here in texas, house wrap is usually installed prior to siding and windows, and openings flashed with either tape or a sealant. love your videos and skill
Teach yourself. Start small. Maybe with free wood or even pallets. Make a chicken coop and sell it. Then make them bigger and better. Make a small shed then increase the size as needed. Watch instructional videos on RUclips for good tips. Good luck.
You can literally learn all this on RUclips and other internet sites nowdays. I'm no pro, but I understand what he's doing. Start by watching basic framing videos - really that's the key. Once you can make a good frame everything else is basically either cosmetic or weather-proofing. Despite the size this is a pretty high level build, obviously meant for extreme climates. You could start with something like a simple shed. (Oh and you'll need a good foundation for your frame... whole other topic)
It's very good job!!! You're great master!!! But your video is small and fast. There are three things you can watch forever: fire, water, and other people working))) And music is no good, better is sounds of work. Best wishes!!!
Skal til med en lignende hagebod, og lurer på om det går bra å sette veggene oppå spongulvet? Ser på monteringsveiledningen fra Forestia og andre at det skal være ekspansjonsavstand på gulvsponplater til vegg på minimum 10mm.
IDK what they're called, but something like that is really common in Japan. They are sold as joist supports to go under floor joists, between the slab and the floor joist to add extra support. They are adjustable in height to account for unevenness in the slab or the timber. A search for "adjustable joist supports" produces a range of different versions, plastic and metal, so maybe start there?
20k income, but what profit after all material and shipping expenses? And it takes a long time so what about hourly rate? It looks fantastic though and well made, I'd hire you!
20k, Things are very expensive here in Norway. My prices are lower than a typical building company. Just renovating a standard bathroom would cost 20-30k here.
As others have said, housewrap should be installed before windows.
I’m happy to finally see one of these get moved to the location.
Does not matter, the windows are pleced flush to the cladding
