Ishinomaki Home Base is a hybrid space designed by architect Keiji Ashizawa. Using philosophies of simplicity and DIY that were used in the brand Ishinomaki Laboratory that he founded 12 years ago, Ashizawa was intentional in keeping Ishinomaki Home Base approachable.
