Your videos are consistently high quality content! Glad I stumbled upon your channel, bro. Keep'em coming! Gotta say I'm jealous of your climate. Living in Norway doesn't provide great conditions for running every day this time of the year. That being said - no chance of overheating though!
Good work. Loving your channel. I just did my first Q&A. I was tagged by another channel to answer some specific travel questions. It was much more difficult to do than I anticipated.
Brilliant, that’s great to know. I’m slack on the old stretching I do it after hard sessions but not as much as I should, better with a foam roller though! Would love to see an in-depth video on some of the sessions you have been doing, appreciate it’s done on a week by week basis but as I’m scoping out trail marathons for later this year and my training is mainly focused on roads I’d love to know a bit more about some “trails” training 👍
I’ve been looking for a good running channel for ages and I’m so happy I came across you, I truly enjoy your videos! Also the fact you eat a plant-based diet is great too since I’m vegan 🌞🌿
Since we're already on the gear talk: Get a Ciele promo code or something, you deserve some ref money. Been looking for functional running 5panels that don't look, well... so functional for a long time and I think I've finally found them through your videos! :D
I can definitely relate to the bit about the difficulties of combining work and training, as I'm sure many people can. Would be interested to know if you ever resent the extra time video making and editing can take up. Personally I'm conscious that my fitness/flexibility etc can suffer with all the extra time spent sat at a computer - kind of ironic when the videos are supposed to promote it. But hopefully it's worth it overall... Anyway great channel!
yep, same here as mentioned in my last vlog. can only spend so much time editing having a full time job and having to travel a lot. I hate to spoil a good run setting up camera for video shots.
Agreed RG. In my case, more than a couple of times I've found myself sat at the laptop, straight after the run, for longer than I actually spent running. That's time when I could have been stretching/cooling down before my shower. Or at the very least, lying down which seems as good as anything else for the posture!
hey chris i never resent it and if i do i dont do it because its for fun. I have figured out an efficient way to get some running shots now without interrupting my training. I only film probably 1 maybe 2 runs a week and I dont film wile im running anymore just get some quick shots after. I usually edit on Saturday after my long run and im just chilling anyway. I dont have a girlfriend or kids etc. so it makes it alot easier.
Thanks for your reply Dan - really interesting to read your thoughts on this. Sounds like you have more of a regular timetable than me, and that's probably key as you're choosing better times to fit in things like editing rather than rushing to do them asap. Reminded me that I must get more organised!
Great vlog and I love & appreciate your editing and transitions. So subtle and sweet I find myself skipping back to watch them again, ie. barista banging the portafilter to you banging your long black down. Sweet Thanks for answering my question and explaining further in q&a. Need to find a good sports massage therapist
Are you still using a running coach from Mile 27? I noticed Scotty Walker is no longer there. I'm thinking of jumping on board with Ben as i saw him one night doing a talk one night. For an average Joe, the prices are pretty high. Do you think they are worth the money for them? Do you use a Stryd foot pod to measure your effort?
If I am normally limited to a daily 4 mile run during lunch, what can I do to optimize my benefits? I normally just try to easy run for 3 miles and kick it up for the last mile.

mostly nothing but podcasts or music sometimes depending on what im feeling
What gear do you use on your runs to record video and take photos? Your photos are always so stunning!
thanks alex i have a video coming explaining all of this
@Dan Whitehead do you have any news?
I’ve noticed the jazz music on few of your vids what is it 👍🏻
Any mobility or strength work, i'm slowly building more into my week. Trying to build a habit and all that...
push ups and sit ups lol thats it
Wondering what you do for work? How many hours do you work per week?
Dope!!!!
If I am normally limited to a daily 4 mile run during lunch, what can I do to optimize my benefits? I normally just try to easy run for 3 miles and kick it up for the last mile.
id say run them all easy and make one of them a tempo run so 80 percent effort/comfortably hard
You doing buffalo this year bro?
maybe man but doing 6 foot track in march so will see how i pull up after that you going ?
Dan Whitehead yeah mate do the 20!!
