1000W Rust Cleaning Laser - Removes Rust Effortlessly
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 8 июл 2017
- Rust Cleaning? Remove rust easily from metals using a 1000 Watt Laser. When aimed at a metal surface, the dirt layer and any oxides underneath will absorb the energy and evaporate.
The metal underneath will not absorb the laser energy, leaving nothing but a clean surface ready for welding or painting.
The system uses short pulses of laser light at 1000 watts, producing micro-plasma bursts, along with thermal pressure and shock waves to sublimate the rust and separates it from the metal without damaging the piece.
Here is a basic Price guide in US Dollars
- Low Power (50W - 100W) : $68,000 - $105,000
- Mid Power (200W - 500W) : $160,000 - $295,000
- High Power (1000W) : $440,000 - $500,000
The Hand Held Rust Removal Laser makes rust literally evaporate.
NOTE: This Laser does not harm or hurt human flesh, as seen in the video.
Thanks for watching

*1) WARNING!!! - Facebook is advertising this Laser for $39.00 such as through **Topbazaar.shop* - I did some quick research and found a website listing hundreds of scammer sites (including Topbazaar.shop) that take some images from the web, often from Kickstarter, Indiegogo etc. - and they sell it at ridiculous low prices. it states buyers will never receive any goods.

Please use common sense, this Laser Rust Cleaner was selling for nearly $500k in 2017, there is no way to make it and sell it for $39.00 6-12 months later, even shitty Cordless Drills usually sell for $39.00.
Just tonight my buddy was telling me about someone who was getting this for 39.99, I told him to show it to me. I doubt I will see it. Keep Rocking!!!

As a back yard mechanic and classic car enthusiast, this laser made my jaw drop and brought a tear to my eye. I would totally buy one if I could afford it

Yeah if that existed a little bit earlier a lot of people who died from chemical vapor would not be dead. Atleast future welder's and electricians won't die.

Your video was charming, demonstrated the topic, answered questions I didn't know I even had and was done before many others have finished the preamble. Good work!
This had better become commonplace someday soon. Theres so many people who could benefit from a device like this. Especially DIY mechanics in Canada like me 😄
Im dyi mechanic got the latest model this year and can tell its still nothing cheap, even for bigger company :)
on the way to being that way! you can now get a 1500W model for about 15 grand. By no means cheap, but not nearly as bad as the 500 grand it was a few years ago
This uses a massive array of infrared diodes that use fiber coupling to combine the beams into one. Yeah you're not getting this for any less than $10,000.
Man, I really hope that you're right about the tech going to mass market, I live in the salt/rust belt in Ontario, that thing would be a godsend for me and anyone that lives here who enjoys automotive or just keeping their general equipment in good standing care!

This is like laser version of a pressure wash with more of a satisfying feel
This would be so useful at our work and save me hours on the work I do
I bet you they will come down to an affordable price in the near future, $2-10k for a 1000watt.
By the time it's affordable you wont have work because robots would replace you
Unfortunately first ones to get that will be rich companies which will have means to be much more productive than you. They will offer much cheaper services because of this tool and you won't be able to compete with them. After all alternatives go out and such company has monopoly, they can increase prices once again.
Maciej Załucki yeah, right, their going to spend half a million just to be able to charge a fraction of that ~ how long before that becomes profitable? Even if it's to squash the competition, is that really financially feasible? It would be cheaper to wage a price war [rather than spending $500k on a device that can only derust around 4 sq inches per second].
If you knew what wavelength the laser was, you might be able to source the diodes somewhere and build one. You'd still need a regulator, switch, knife edge array, focusing lens, and prolly a diffuser too.
Laser....the gift that just keeps giving!
Dude soon as I saw this been hounding the boss to get one that is amazing the work I could do with this is endless cheers for showing ,the hand was mind blowing
Holy shit. This would be a life saver in rust belt zones
How so? You still have lost metal, and you have to keep going over the area as it rusts again, when you could have just gone over that area BEFORE it rusted with one of several different DIY undercoating homebrew goops and then kept reapplying the goop, at a few dollars per application instead of tens of thousands of dollars and this can't even get to any rust that isn't in direct line of sight of the machine because a laser is as directional a device as it gets.

This seems like it could be useful for restoring rusty antiques from old sunken ships without damaging the artifact. I would love to have one of these to restore steel antiques, and then refurbish/paint them to be sold at auctions. I wonder if it can remove tarnish from old silver or copper coins; among other things. Much less damaging to fine details than sand blasting, yet far too expensive for common use :(
There’s vids of people cleaning keys and coins with these things and it’s as satisfying as it sounds

I see there's a use for it. But abrasive blasting steel substrate is overall better. You obtain an anchor profile, cleans deeper depending on your standard like SP5,10,6,etc or NACE equivalent, and you kill two birds with one stone.
Wow. Hopefully the prices drop soon. Amazing potential.
