Kept waiting for somebody in his live chat to correct the first guy that said it was Junna, but nobody ever did. Guess people aren’t too familiar with Trident. I love Junna, but prefer Nagisa with Trident.
Just to make certain that you caught it: this isn't Junna on drums. Junna left the band, and this was the first track they released after making Nagisa their official drummer.
Thanks for giving Trident some love. 🔱❤ They have some really great songs you need to check out. 'Spoopy' is a bit of a departure from their usual sound, but excellent none the less. 'Ambivalent' has some fantastic bass lines that will be stuck in your head all day long. 'Repaint' is their newest single released about a month ago.I think they're releasing a new EP at the end of summer, or early fall.
I'm not a big fan of Spoopy myself but they have a ton of other songs I love; when it comes to departures I'm more of a Brand New World guy. Yes! Ambivalent is fantastic because of that bass! Of course, they have so many bangers like Voltage, Imagination, Alive, Just Fight, etc.
Glad to see others have corrected who the drummer is because Nagisa deserves huge props for her talent and skills. The bass also and the singer and.. Just huge talent here. I love this band. My favorite song is Ambivalent
An amazing sound from a three piece.. Love Trident.. Check out the song Ambivilant, Serina kills it on the bass in this one... Asaka on guitar and vocals and Nagisa on drums kill it to.. Watch more Trident it's great for the soul!!!
One of the early discoveries in my musical journey of Japanese rock. They're a great 3-piece with several bangers. This is very indicative of their tone for most songs. I suggest Voltage, Imagination, Ambivalent, Alive and Just Fight. Brand New World is also a fave of mine; that one's a ballad if you're up for it down the line.

Yep. A good trio produces such honest music. And Trident is one of the best. Not Junna at this stage of the band. Nagisa is their drummer here.. But definitely check out Junna's channel. She is an amazing drummer.
Not their best song, so if you like this one, there's many songs of them you will love 😀. I'm really happy you instantly noticed how good Nagisa is behind the kit! She had the hard job to follow drummer Junna, a phenomenal drummer too, but who kinda threw the band off balance. Nagisa is equally gifted, but more a team member, so the balance is great now.
Kinda. I don't think anyone knows the "real" reason, but it seems Junna was a bit overpowering for a 3 piece. She also seems to float around from project to project, always looking for the next new thing to try. Again, this all speculation. Japanese bands are normally very tight lipped.
Junna (the drummer) is sick. I really love her, but I always think that she's overpowering any band she's in. Drummers like her, or Senri or Yoyoka, will be better off playing off as lonesome fighters, or on temporary short projects.
@@billb.5183 eh, really? I thought that was Junna, seeing the style of her playing the drums. My bad, I rechecked the info and Junna withdrew from the band in 2020, whereas this song released in 2021, so yes looks like it is Nagisa on drums.
The drummer is Nagisa. Junna (June Na) has a twin tail like Miku and she's a solo drummer :)
