The MIX With The MASTERS Seminar Series is a chance for recording and mixing engineers to work closely with A-List record producers, engineers and mixers and improve their skills in music production. The events take place at Studio La Fabrique in the South of France.
At the end of his Weeklong Seminar in November 2014, Mixer Michael Brauer took the time to answer a few questions from the MWTM Facebook Page.
what i learned from this, is that michael brauer is one hell of a voice actor
I have watched and love all of the mix with masters, but this was my favorite!
I literally have never laughed out loud, some of the guys have humor but this was awesome
I love these interviews with Michael. It's also awesome to hear the new Copeland record he just mixed at the end of the Q&A!
I’m a huge of of both Michael Brauer and CLA. Any Australians on here may not realise that Michael Brauer mixed the first 2 Southern Sons albums. Heart In Danger, what a song and such great energy in that track.

Michael man I looove you....you are my best inspiration in this job...im still learning but I would give anything to be able to steal 20 minutes of your time and have a coffee with you...even we dont have to talk about music...just to have a coffee...best wishes!!!

I just listened to the audio book for “animal farm” and when you did the French accent you sounded quite similar to the guy who read the book... that was the voice of squealer.
Really love it, nothing like a little humor.
Dead right about Shields by Grizzly Bear. A great work of art. I had hated the cleanliness of Coldplay's third album so held a bit of a grudge against this Brauer bloke. So it's nice to be reminded he helped construct the sound of the record I listened to most in the last 10 years.

Okay I wouldn't work with him.
He seems very sound, down to earth, a little eccentric, quite funny. I'm sure he'd ask if you'd like a coffee if you were working with him. He just seems that kind of guy! Not up his own arse.... the question is, would he work with YOU! ;-) ....oooooh haha... He wouldn't work with me! But yea, I "get him".
