I've waited all my life to get a great Superman movie & it hasn't happened. First the people who decide the cast have gotten wrong far too often in selecting Lois Lane. The Lois Lane of Smallville was great. The Lois Lane of Superman Returns was great & the 1st Lois Lane of the TV show with George Reeves was great but not her replacement. The others didn't cut it. Can we have a romantic story included? I mean a mature, love story with passion & grit. & don't over extend fight sequences. Get a Lex Luther who truly has the chops to take on Superman, using strategy, brains to put up a battle setting up a trap/cage laced with kryptonite where Superman becomes incapacitated where he has to use his creative wits to overcome the challenges., where Lois is kidnapped & in serious danger, & the list goes on of what can be done to present some horrifying sequences & threats to the people Superman loves most. I even enjoyed the Fleisher cartoons of the 40s. Honestly, I don't expect much of the upcoming Superman movie since so many have failed miserably over the decades.

I've waited all my life to get a great Superman movie & it hasn't happened. First the people who decide the cast have gotten wrong far too often in selecting Lois Lane. The Lois Lane of Smallville was great. The Lois Lane of Superman Returns was great & the 1st Lois Lane of the TV show with George Reeves was great but not her replacement. The others didn't cut it. Can we have a romantic story included? I mean a mature, love story with passion & grit. & don't over extend fight sequences. Get a Lex Luther who truly has the chops to take on Superman, using strategy, brains to put up a battle setting up a trap/cage laced with kryptonite where Superman becomes incapacitated where he has to use his creative wits to overcome the challenges., where Lois is kidnapped & in serious danger, & the list goes on of what can be done to present some horrifying sequences & threats to the people Superman loves most. I even enjoyed the Fleisher cartoons of the 40s. Honestly, I don't expect much of the upcoming Superman movie since so many have failed miserably over the decades.
