How to repair Damaged Carbon Fibre (Fiber) Mould to New PERFECT Mould [CARBON FIBER REPAIR]
One of my old mould which was made from Epoxy Eg160 system started to show signs of stress with cracks and chips, now is time to re make the mould before the mould if ruined and its to late!
This mould will still need to be post cured to the temperature needed, in my case 125 deg c. I will use this mould in out of autoclave prepreg

love your channel. I just bought the new Flex PE80 hand polisher. Might check it out. it has a 90 degree head and also 1" onions for polishing. I seen many rave about it and they are right. Polishing my carbon on my motorcycle you can get into tight spots so easy and holding it way easier than the drill I had. Keep up the fabulous work!!!!

Would be interesting to put some calipers on the various molds/parts to measure how much shrinkage there is over multiple generations.

Great video, thanks for sharing. Do you use prepreg on the mould to obtain that perfect CF ring? Or conventional CF with resin+Vacuum bag?
