Love it. My boots have been worn every single day, and re-soled twice over the last 10 years and they are still going strong which is testament to the build quality and craftsmanship that goes into both making and repairing them.
@@kangacrew540 not sure, probably depends how badly scuffed they are to begin with. Mine from memory came back looking pretty nice, but have never been very bad to begin with.
Was waiting for this video for long time. I bought my RMs about year a go for birthday. Awesome boots most comfortable shoes by far. Feels like moulded to my foot. Amazing craftsmanship. Every Australian should have one of those. We should look after these one of last standing Australian business. Love it Don.M
My initial pair of Craftsman boots have just sent back to Adelaide from Tasmania after 12 years of everyday wear from restaurants and theatre nights to mudding around on my farm. I have a standby pair which I also love to wear until they return, but I can’t wait to have my dear old pair back again, with soles and heels as good as new.
I always wore Baxter boots but the last 20 years I've started wearing R M Williams but sadly they moved the shop from campbelltown so I can't get the souls repaired looks like I'll have to use the local boot maker
Bobby ....I think more for effect in the video, but larger people in general do struggle due to the stress on their internals and the extra they’re carrying on their frames. Cutting sugars and carbohydrates intake would easily fix that. I know... I’ve been there.
@@OrnumCR Don't spread misinformation. Carbs are not the god damn enemy. People can lose weight without cutting carbs. I lost 20kg cutting fats, eating more carbs and running.
@@ItsThatMilkshake ...Good for you. Cutting carbs entirely worked for me...and that is a fact so no, not misinformation at all. Each individual needs to discover what works for them, but don’t discount what I’ve bought to the debate...
So...let me get this straight. You send back your manky RM’s and Adelaide deconstructs them completely, re-lasts the original leather if in suitable condition, resoles, restitches and basically reconstructs. Basically they’re making a ‘new’ boot looking at this. Hopefully I’ll never let any pairs of my RM’s ever get close to being as bad as shown here.
RM williams is rubbish, brought jumper for my son, 1st wash shrunk to half size. Many emails later to RM williams, still no response. Never again will I buy from this Co. Quality dreadful. I believe,,,,not 100% sure,,,,thats its new owned by Singapore company. Market themselves as iconic Australian
Yeah because there is a lot in common between a pair of hand made boots made in a factory in Adelaide and your sons Chinese made shirt that you washed incorrectly ....
Your first mistake was buying a jumper from a brand renowned for making boots. It’s kind of like buying an expensive fashion branded watch instead of one from an established watch house and then wondering why it is absolute trash!
Sounds like user error to me. There is a reason why this iconic company has been around since 1932. It was never Singapore owned and is now back to 100% Aussie owned.

Mines sent off the factory for resole. Do they polish up as well as part of service?

Did you have the comfort craftsman or the original craftsman? Just curious
@@rayzorray2437 long time ago, but I think comfort craftsman with the oil resistant sole

In such a troubled world this focuses the mind on the good things of the past - and whats important.
Dear Andrew,
Your boots were shagged, we sent you some new ones.
Regards,
Paul.
That’s amazing 🤩 I bought my first pair of RM William boots today. I love them already.

They sure do. And they come back just like new.
They’ll come back fitting like a glove, better than buying a new pair
How did I got here? I just wanted to fix my boots.

Imagine basing all of this over your own failed care of a product.

You fool. So its ok for RM Williams to sell rubbish products as long as their boots are not rubbish🤪
