Hi there, thank you for watching and popping by and leaving me a nice comment. These were very tricky to an even coverage, but not too thick, as to hinder the screws and the tightening of the bead lock. Best wishes 🖐️😉
Hi there Steve, thank you for watching and leaving me a nice comment. I think I might put on the Subaru Brat wheels and tyres for the test run on tarmac, don’t want to wear those spikes out to slicks 🫣🤣🫣best wishes 😊😉😎
Nice John. This is the building step on which it'll be decided if a newcomer gonne be a RC enthusisat or his hobby ends on the bay. Great job. Ave a great sinday my friend.
Hi there Luke, thank you for watching and leaving me a nice comment, oh yes, back in the 80’s, bead lock wheels were standard really, Tamiya didn’t want young 14 year old, super gluing there fingers together 😂🤣😂had our ‘O’ levels to pass at school 😂🫣😂best wishes 😊😉😎
Hi there, thank you for watching and popping by and leaving me a nice comment. So right, wheels are so time consuming, but as with a full size care, they are the dressing of a car. I had great fun, getting these to look alloy colour, tricky to get even, but I managed it😉😊😉Best wishes 🖐️😉
Hi there Jeremy, thank you for watching and leaving me a lovely comment. You got me, I’m afraid….one of my obsessions is wheels being the right colour….silver to indicate metal wheels 😎😎😂😂. Had to be done on the Hornet too, to match my bodywork 🖐️😉best wishes to you and the family 😊😉😊
I really love the wheels and tires on this rig John. I like the white wheels on this , but I am all for painting them depending on what colors are going on the cars body. I’ve always been a big fan of 5 spoke star wheels! Hope you have a great week!👍🏻😝😊
Hi there Robby, thank you for watching and leaving a me a great comment. I was going to leave them white, but I’m following by days of being 13 years old. I remember having them silver to replicate alloy wheels (as having alloys on a full size car, in the 80’s, was considered as having a hot car 😉😊), so alloy coloured it was 😂🤣😂. God bless you all, best wishes 😉😊
Hi there Tibster,n thank you for watching, I appreciate you popping by. I’ve managed to start doing a few running videos too and I even hit out a YT short, what am I like eh 🫣🤣😂! Best wishes to you and the family 😉😊😎
Nice job John! You're getting very close to the end I'd say. I like the idea of you painting the wheels...think that looks really good. I'll be curious to see the whole thing once it's done but I think it suits the car. I'll be leaving my wheels white so that it matches the Tyco Turbo Hopper wheels. But I do think what you've done maybe gives the car a bit more of an upscale look.
Hi there Freddy, thank you for watching and leaving me a nice comment. Oh yes, for me, I’ve got an obsession with wheels looking like wheels, well…at least metal coloured 😂🤣😊. I’m sure your colour scheme is going to look perfect and suit the car well. The individuality is what makes this hobby so great. Best wishes 😊😉😎
Hi there Nick, thank you for popping by and leaving me a lovely comment. I remember back in 1984, the tyres being spiked, however, back when I was 13, I didn’t think they would wear down quickly, I remember wearing them so far down, they were slick 🫣, a bit wiser near 40 years on….going to be finding some road tyres to run on tarmac 😎🖐️😎best wishes 😉😊
Hi there Dom, thank you for watching and leaving me a nice comment, you know me, I’ve got this thing about wheels being a metal colour like silver 😊😉best wishes 😊😉😎
I will say building Tamiya tires and wheels is a pain but when you order up some aluminum ones it gets harder! Lol! Looking good John. I can imagine your watch time hours are good, to pick up subs that you don't have to follow in return lol try making shorts from your old run videos. Do quick lil action clips 4 to 5 seconds long as a shorts video. They get subs faster than ever and sometimes a lot of views as well. Best wishes always to you and yours! ✌🏼😎👍🏼
Hi there Mike, thank you for watching and popping by and leaving me a lovely comment and great advice. I’ve begun to try and get some running videos, I’ll try and edit a short of some kind, I have an idea from a run with the Blitzer Beetle that I have got lined up to be on RUclips. Best wishes 🖐️😉
Nice work John wheels can be quite the challenge on these tight fit

😁👍O yeah the wheels and tires...the hardest part of the chassis build! The chassis is all ready now to go!

Beadlocks! Wow! Those are awesome, wouldn’t expect those on a car like that! Amazing, as always! 👊🏻👑
