Decorating for Christmas 🎄 | Transitioning to winter and getting into a holiday spirit

- I can't believe it's already mid december and the end of year holidays is just around the corner 🎄! I've had much joy decorating our house these last couple of weeks, with Momo and Coco playing in the tree. Hope you enjoy this vlog 💛
Chocolate and pear pie recipe:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (thermostat 6) and place your shortcrust pastry in a pie dish.
- Melt 80g of dark chocolate with 2tbsp of milk in a saucepan (or in the microwave).
- Once chocolate has melted, add 3 tbsp of crème fraîche. Mix and pour over the pastry.
- Then place the pear halves on top of the chocolate layer.
- In a separate bowl, mix all together 3 eggs, 70g of sugar, 1tbsp of crème fraîche and 1/4 cup of milk. Once combined, pour over the pear and chocolate layers.
- Bake in the oven for 30 min.

I decorated early December, it took a little while to put the video together as it’s been a busy month for me here 😅. I usually remove decorations after the new year 😊.

Lovely home you've created. Please keep in mind that public parks are tended by skilled city employees. If others come in a trim off pieces here and there, especially without a knowledge of where and when to cut a plant back, it can significantly hinder the growth of a plant and certainly will change it for spring (sometimes for the better and sometimes for the worse.) I especially think taking any moss out of a park is not a good idea. It's best to go to a florist who can procure moss and other items from a sustainable grower. Let's keep public spaces intact for all to enjoy. Thank you.
Hello 😊 the moss was from a florist shop and came with the wreath foundation pack. I only picked branches and flowers up that were broken on the floor ☺️. I agree that we should be mindful when foraging.
