2 levels of tempest cleric plus any class thar can get you access to lightning bolt and/ or Call lightning is enough really. Use the create water lvl1 cleric spell to make enemies wet, which doubles their damage taken from lightning and cold spells. Once per short rest, use Tempest cleric's channel oath ability to do the max possible damage with a lightning spell on wet targets.
Any full caster class (and even half casters tbh) benefits from a 1 level dip into wizard just to get scroll reading. It’s worth more than any feat and unlocks so many utility options.

You need lava from the forge to have it work twice and check out the alchemist’s basement in the blighted village Tactician is also super easy don’t stress it’s not an overly punishing game
My first ever DND class and my favorite character I ever played was a Life Domain Cleric. And yes; Clerics are monsters if they’re played correctly. Light Cleric, Tempest Cleric, War Cleric, Nature Cleric, and Life Cleric all come to mind in this game as being extremely op and Light/War/Tempest are probably the strongest. I haven’t played a Nature or knowledge cleric but my friend I game with went Nature Cleric and I can see the awesome abilities already. I have tried the other spellcasting classes, and Cleric is my second favorite (next to warlock) and I feel like is the strongest Caster. If they were better at talking to people they’d straight up be the best class in the game imo. So I love what you did in this video! Also really well done video, and I’m certain this channel will blow up with more vids like this!
I’m currently doing my very first playthrough as a war cleric and I’m loving it! It’s sad, that it is the least played class. You have so much potential and every domain plays honestly really different from the last.
do you know that when using a revive scroll, you click twice : first to select the body to revive, second to select where you want it to be revived. so you could have revived gale. even in combat at the cost of an action and a scroll.
I always assumed a few reasons why Cleric was one of the least played classes: 1. Shadowheart is literally the FIRST companion you recruit in the game after the tutorial ship, a cleric. 2. clerics are spellcasters first and foremost, yes even the more martials ones like War and Tempest, because of that aside from the Gold Dwarf clerics they're not the toughest classes. 3. they're a wisdom class, meaning you'll have a hard time making charisma checks for dialouge 4. cleric, EVEN AFTER ALL THIS TIME, is seen widely as a "support" class. a healer, even with Life Cleric's after a few levels showing they're more than ah eal bot and more of a "guardian" for the team, most people see clerics as a backline that's just there to keep the team alive and do nothing else. all of this personally is reinforced by the stats showing which class is the most picked: Paladin. durable melee frontline which fits since the player character will ALWAYS be the one leading the party unless you take control of someone else charisma based character for dialouge checks some spellcasting to use, more as a swiss army knife of either melee damage spells or light heals/buffs takes of the strength and charisma rolls, meaning you can then take astarion, gale, and shadowheart for a clean, efficient, 4 man party through the whole game.
I had three quite different experiences with the cleric in my party. First campaign: Vanilla Shadowheart, trickstery domain. Missed all her shots, had a bunch of weird spells I didn't really make use of, but was useful for healing. Second campaign: No cleric in my party. It was managable but sometimes I lacked someone who could do a massive heal as a bonus action. Third campaign: Shadowheart again, but this time life domain and with optimized stats. She finally has reasonable % to hit and is even better at healing. Now that's what I'm talking about!
THE BLASTER: 1 storm sorcerer/11 tempest cleric (or 3/9 if you want metamagic). THE FIXER: 6 light cleric/6 divination wizard. Take the lucky feat. Master of the dice. THE CONTROLLER: 7 nature cleric/5 beastmaster ranger. Spike growth, plant growth, spider pet for web (or just go pure nature cleric). THE KNOW-IT-ALL: 9 knowledge cleric/3 lore bard. Take the actor feat and expertise in sleight of hand. Your face and your "rogue".
I had a playthrough with my TAV as a war priest to Tyr along side Lae'zel, Shadowheart, and Astarion. We blew through a LOT of enemies. I had a lot of fun.
Looks like a fun run! Clerics rock. Lol all those spirit weapons and everyone in lawn mower (spirit guardians) mode! Nothing beats armored spell casters! Looking forward to your Act II adventures!
I hope you enjoy this video! So far this has been one of my most complex videos and I'm really happy with the outcome! Onwards and upwards. On another note, what do you think is the strongest Class?
My fav is the wizard. You can get the divination for the lucky feat but better, you can get evocation for insane damage and avoiding friendly fire, you can get enchantment as the party's face, you can make a multiclass of Eldritch knight+abjuration, and so many others
Heh, use create water in an area before you throw lightning (or cold spells) with the tempest cleric. It doubles the damage and give electrocuted, which takes away reactions from the enemy
As a White-Mage main in FFXI for 3 years, I still to this day adore a single player RPG that allows me to be the Healer of the group that calls me their leader and not be punished for it. It let's me usually roleplay in a way that shows my importance and the protection of me in Battle mirroring the story of me a an important person, I kinda love that. Letting me also fuck people up and unleash holy wrath is a nova bonus tho lol
I think that thematically you could use Astarion - Trickery with Tymora Gale - Knowledge with Mystra (or Oghma if Gale is feeling a bit angry at Mystra) Karlach - War with Tempus Lae'zel - also war with Vlaakith, later either tempest with Talos or war with Tempus Shadowheart Trickery with Shar, later Life (or if modded Twilight) with Selune Wyll - Trickery with Asmodeus (if possible), later with Tymora or Oghma
There's some mercenaries in the grymforge that you can convince to fight with you against Nere. One of the sorry buggers managed to shove Nere into the lava and I couldn't loot him or take his head. Had to reload and try again and I swear, he kept running right up to the edge of the lava pit for some reason. I literally had to use all of Karlach's turns constantly shoving him away from the damn pit.
My current party is lvl 3. I am a Light Cleric, Gale is Wiz 1 & Tempest Cleric 2, Wyll is Warlock 1 & Life Cleric 2 (and his next level will be Ancients Paladin) and Astarion is Rogue 1 & Ranger 2 (will be gloom stalker). It’s a pretty good mix so far :)
For my latest tactician playthrough I swapped Shadowheart from Trickery to life domain cleric with additional heals and resist buffs coming from 3 of her equipment pieces, it made encounters where you're swarmed that much more manageable.
My main character is trickery cleric, the least played class with least played subclass. Its OP af. You get disguise self wich allows you to allways be disguised with no cost, or effort. Because pritty early in the game you can get a ring to get A Flat +4 ON EVERY FUCKING ROLL. On top of that you get blessing which is an aditional d4 on every check. And when you make the first level in rouge you will get a ton of proviciancys. You can steal everything and basicly have jedi powers... Its so insane
I remember doing something like this when I saw the stats that cleric was the least played class. I did a run with Main character gith, 6 tempest cleric/6 storm sorcerer, Shadowheart 12 life cleric, wyll 6 tempest cleric/ 6 storm sorcerer and karlach (Bae) 9 light cleric, 3 paladin. I focused my main on thunder damage, so even in act 1 with the brand of the absolute and the absolute ring with the thunder hammer from the inn I was doing pretty consistent thunder dmg. In act 2 you get the thunder cape, reverb condition boots and thunder trident from act 3 genie its a strong front liner, conditions etc. Then wyll was the classic lightning god, electrifying water and doing lightning dmg. Karlach had that really OP stacking lighting orbs on enemies and dispelling darkness along with her racial smites and supplemental heals she was a boss. Light cleric can solo act 2 with all those shades and stealth types and its not even close, Shadowheart barely had any healing to do. Everyone rocking medium or above armor they worked very well together and it made sense to just focus on on type of damage for each of them. Thunder for main, lightning for wyll, radiant for karlach and healbot for shadowheart. The full cleric run was pretty easy even on tactician IMO.
this came on in the background and i thought it was a video from someone with a few hundred thousand subscribers, i was surprised to see this only has 598 views, the video is very well made!
To save Alfira you need to reload to a save before she visits the camp, go to her in the camp and knock her unconscious with non-lethal damage. Then a Dragonborn Bard named Quil will turn up and die in her place. If you cast "Protection from Evil and Good" and put on one of the Masks on the table you can get through to Ethel without fighting and seeing through the illusory traps.
your visible amazement of karlach jumping through a window just through camera movement made me bust out laughing. also, ive done act 1 probably five times and i never thought of using an ice arrow for myrinas cage. good stuff!
Clerics know every spell they learn for every level you can swap them out by clicking the spell book in the inventory whenever you want, I think there is also a hotkey to go straight to the spells 'K'
Your mileage may vary. I started this with my daughter multiplayer where we each run two characters. We made each origin character a cleric as well as our custom characters. We struggled in combats with larger numbers of opponents at lower levels after running out of spells, even with the unlimited cantrips. Tempest and Light clerics were fine with creature control, up until the spell slots were gone. Trickster clerics are only good for buffs, in my experience, up to the point they get hit and lose concentration. Still working though the game though, and we'll see how higher levels go.
I am so stocked with the performance of this video, and I am glad that you are enjoying it! Thank you for watching and supporting the channel! Its pushing me to get act 2 out ASAP! Thank you all!
I played a Cleric on my first playthrough of Baldurs Gate 3, romanced Shadowheart on my second run, and then played as Shadowheart on my third run, Cleric is so good and imo one is required in every party.
This type of run is on my list of things to try. Im also thinking a party of four druids would be awesome since around level 7 or so each druid can have three or four summons which means you would have a 20 person party lol thats my next run after i solo it on a rogue/ranger.
Aaah yes. The Minotaurs of the underdark. Thas when i really learned the power of grease bottles in this game. They both didnt get one turn done, and i was just level 3 at the time.
My party consists of gale necro wizard, shadowheart light cleric, astarion storm cleric and myself as the gloomstalker ranger… they all have raise dead and its been awhile since anyone has been downed or lost hp.. loads of fun, i have astarion as a storm sorc cleric so he can nullify AoE spells to the party.. love the synergy when a single splash of water covers a room just to electrocute everyone in it, then freeze it soon after.. and then we unleash the zombie hordes while everything is prone 😆
Hint: You can easily steal the sword from the devil in the tutorial if you use the Command spell (used by MC or Shadowheart) on them and choose "drop weapon". But I love my War Domain cleric, going 5 levels into fighter helps a lot, giving you the extra attack and action surge compliments the war priest extra attacks. Downside is you miss out on all the sweet late game spells, and on tabletop, that's pretty damn heartbreaking when you realize you could have been casting Temple Of The Gods by level 13.
@@dov2mt that’s the thing, idc about every companion’s storyline. I’ve been playing since the 90’s and one thing I picked up that carries over to any and every game I play is “check every corner”. imo, clerics are one of the most versatile classes in dnd (other than fighter, which has more versatility than i know what to do with.) you can go for pure healing, big damage, non-healing support, debuffs, etc etc. my current group has two clerics (tempest and death domains) and it's worked out great for us so far.

Clerics are so busted. I played a Wizard and dipped two of his levels into Tempest cleric just for funsies and it was maybe the best decisions I could’ve made. Also my favorite build in the game is easily 5 levels War cleric, 5 levels Paladin, and the last two levels are flexible
Bg3 is the only video game I’ve ever really played except sims, ( technically as a kid I had a DS and a Wii but it was very casual) however I’ve played D&D since highschool. I played as a cleric once, I didn’t hate it however I really don’t care about wisdom modifier. Charisma is the best stat, then dexterity in my book which is why despite it actually being a pretty strong class I don’t go for cleric.
Me, who's been playing D&D since '88: Not playing clerics? You know nothing of true power. Meme responses aside, you're not wrong at all. Cleric is imo the most versatile, and strongest base class that can do far more than just be a cute little pocket healer in both BG 3 and pen and paper. Long been a vocal supporter of it as such, and some of the best campaigns I've been in have been all or mostly clerics. Same with character runs in the old Neverwinter Nights game on several multiplayer servers.
A Tempest cleric wet lightning build easily does 500 damage a turn. It's so successful that my Wizard only uses cold and lightning spells on wet targets, too. Combat never goes over 3 rounds.
@@DigitalWolverine Heh. One trick you can do is start with 15 Constitution, and then take the resilience feat to bump to 16 and gain advantage on CON saves. I always do this with a Shadowheart respec and it gets good results.
Early BG3 no one wanted to play cleric because Shadoeheart is a mainstay in the majority of playthroughs. Now everyone realised Tempest and Light clerics are two of the best classes in the game.

Something something people don’t like healing so wizards of the coast kept buffing clerics and now they’re one of the most overpowered classes in the game, and BG3 reflects that.

Getting Hellrider’s pride gauntlets from Zevlor has been the best magic item. I put that on a life cleric and I still use it all the way through act 3
I wonder how I can get them while remaining faithful clerics.
@@thejury94 there are four ways of getting them either stealing them, killing Zevlor or just helping him out and he gives them to you
@@thejury94
Boots of Aid and comfort is another great item to have. You can get that from the guts the goblin
The best is to have the ring "the whispering promise" it gives bless with heals too
Those, Boots of Aid and Comfort, Warpira's Crown helm, Whispering Promise ring. Gives Blade Ward + Bless on heal, so be sure to have an Amulet of Restoration for your necklace for free bonus action heals.
You need lava from the forge to have it work twice and check out the alchemist’s basement in the blighted village Tactician is also super easy don’t stress it’s not an overly punishing game
I tried refilling the lava but it said that the valve was stuck, I should have looked it up before continuing
@@thejury94You need to put mithral ore inside the forge first (maybe the mould too), otherwise the lava valve will not work
@@thejury94 Maybe chuck grease on it?
@@thejury94 You can go back to the act 1 area via waypoint
Yeah there’s a bug on the valve currently the only fix is reload before the grim fight :/
Thank you so much!
you can save the bard by knocking her out right before you long rest, another girl shows up and she dies
Good to know
0:12 MEEEEE I went with a Life Cleric of Ilmater right off the bat and the healing was impeccable *insert meme of Pacha from Emperors New Groove*
hehe
I’m currently doing my very first playthrough as a war cleric and I’m loving it! It’s sad, that it is the least played class. You have so much potential and every domain plays honestly really different from the last.
Yea I love their diversity. Tempest feels almost like a separate class to nature
do you know that when using a revive scroll, you click twice : first to select the body to revive, second to select where you want it to be revived. so you could have revived gale. even in combat at the cost of an action and a scroll.
Holy shit, it finally happened. One of your vids was recommended on my home page. Good stuff man, proud of how far you have come!
Omg long time no see!
I always assumed a few reasons why Cleric was one of the least played classes:
3. they're a wisdom class, meaning you'll have a hard time making charisma checks for dialouge
4. cleric, EVEN AFTER ALL THIS TIME, is seen widely as a "support" class. a healer, even with Life Cleric's after a few levels showing they're more than ah eal bot and more of a "guardian" for the team, most people see clerics as a backline that's just there to keep the team alive and do nothing else.
all of this personally is reinforced by the stats showing which class is the most picked: Paladin.
durable melee frontline which fits since the player character will ALWAYS be the one leading the party unless you take control of someone else
charisma based character for dialouge checks
some spellcasting to use, more as a swiss army knife of either melee damage spells or light heals/buffs
takes of the strength and charisma rolls, meaning you can then take astarion, gale, and shadowheart for a clean, efficient, 4 man party through the whole game.
Very good points :)
Looking forward to the entire playthrough. Thanks for your hard work thus far
Thank you! I hope you enjoy the series
I had three quite different experiences with the cleric in my party.
First campaign:
Vanilla Shadowheart, trickstery domain. Missed all her shots, had a bunch of weird spells I didn't really make use of, but was useful for healing.
Second campaign:
No cleric in my party. It was managable but sometimes I lacked someone who could do a massive heal as a bonus action.
Third campaign:
Shadowheart again, but this time life domain and with optimized stats. She finally has reasonable % to hit and is even better at healing. Now that's what I'm talking about!
I found trickery domain to be a bit mid
the legendary A-men party
Yep
Might have to try these out
Clerics are fun to throw into enemies while they have spirit guardians on 😌
It sure is, just get them walking around in circles haha
I had a playthrough with my TAV as a war priest to Tyr along side Lae'zel, Shadowheart, and Astarion. We blew through a LOT of enemies. I had a lot of fun.
War priest was great!
Looks like a fun run! Clerics rock. Lol all those spirit weapons and everyone in lawn mower (spirit guardians) mode! Nothing beats armored spell casters! Looking forward to your Act II adventures!
Also, with all that wisdom I bet you never miss a perception check.
I don't think I have yet.
These videos are incredibly well made, clean editing
Thank you 😊👍
I hope you enjoy this video!
Finished the game a couple times now, on act 3 of my third playthrough. Shadowheart is never absent. Cleric is so, so strong. Love seeing this :)
Wizzy ball lighning, raiment, oculus is working in season 2, i couldn't get it to work season 1.
Love that! it makes healers feel awesome
I think that thematically you could use
Astarion - Trickery with Tymora
Gale - Knowledge with Mystra (or Oghma if Gale is feeling a bit angry at Mystra)
Karlach - War with Tempus
Lae'zel - also war with Vlaakith, later either tempest with Talos or war with Tempus
Shadowheart Trickery with Shar, later Life (or if modded Twilight) with Selune
Wyll - Trickery with Asmodeus (if possible), later with Tymora or Oghma
True, but I like chaos
There's some mercenaries in the grymforge that you can convince to fight with you against Nere. One of the sorry buggers managed to shove Nere into the lava and I couldn't loot him or take his head. Had to reload and try again and I swear, he kept running right up to the edge of the lava pit for some reason. I literally had to use all of Karlach's turns constantly shoving him away from the damn pit.
oh that's annoying!
Liked and Subbed!, This was my plan after completing my Multiplayer run through on stream. Looking forward to the next stream.
Thanks pal :)
It’s a pretty good mix so far :)
that sounds awesome!
For my latest tactician playthrough I swapped Shadowheart from Trickery to life domain cleric with additional heals and resist buffs coming from 3 of her equipment pieces, it made encounters where you're swarmed that much more manageable.
The first time I used Spirit guardians I was amazed, in my first run I didn't use it for so long and it would have been so useful in act 2
Its so insane
oooo seems fun
Impressive!
this came on in the background and i thought it was a video from someone with a few hundred thousand subscribers, i was surprised to see this only has 598 views, the video is very well made!
Thanks so much!!!
That's great!
your visible amazement of karlach jumping through a window just through camera movement made me bust out laughing. also, ive done act 1 probably five times and i never thought of using an ice arrow for myrinas cage. good stuff!
I had no idea it was possible! My intention was to jump over Gale in the doorway, but she pathed through the window!
I'm glad you like the video!
Clerics know every spell they learn for every level you can swap them out by clicking the spell book in the inventory whenever you want, I think there is also a hotkey to go straight to the spells 'K'
MONDBLOWWN!
I really like the warcaster feat on my cleric, my con saving throws are through the roof! Don’t sleep on it!
Ill keep it in mind for the next feat
Your mileage may vary. I started this with my daughter multiplayer where we each run two characters. We made each origin character a cleric as well as our custom characters. We struggled in combats with larger numbers of opponents at lower levels after running out of spells, even with the unlimited cantrips. Tempest and Light clerics were fine with creature control, up until the spell slots were gone. Trickster clerics are only good for buffs, in my experience, up to the point they get hit and lose concentration. Still working though the game though, and we'll see how higher levels go.
Yea the lack of useful cantrips makes it difficult. Long rest as much as you can to get those spell slots up.
Clerics, Bards, Druids, and Paladins are top tier.
I've played a bit of a bard, but no Pal or Druid yet, I might have to give them a go!
I always play Cleric. It's my fav class. Gale should be a Cleric of Mystra though, that's how I re-roll him.
Fixed that in act 2 :D
I am so stocked with the performance of this video, and I am glad that you are enjoying it! Thank you for watching and supporting the channel! Its pushing me to get act 2 out ASAP!
Thank you all!
I played a Cleric on my first playthrough of Baldurs Gate 3, romanced Shadowheart on my second run, and then played as Shadowheart on my third run, Cleric is so good and imo one is required in every party.
Agreed!
This type of run is on my list of things to try. Im also thinking a party of four druids would be awesome since around level 7 or so each druid can have three or four summons which means you would have a 20 person party lol thats my next run after i solo it on a rogue/ranger.
geez, basically unstoppable
Be pretty neat to see a build video on how you set up each cleric! This was great though, actually makes me want to make a team of clerics myself 😂
DO IT!
Aaah yes. The Minotaurs of the underdark. Thas when i really learned the power of grease bottles in this game. They both didnt get one turn done, and i was just level 3 at the time.
Bro what were you even doing there at level 3 😂
That's impressive at level 3
My party consists of gale necro wizard, shadowheart light cleric, astarion storm cleric and myself as the gloomstalker ranger… they all have raise dead and its been awhile since anyone has been downed or lost hp.. loads of fun, i have astarion as a storm sorc cleric so he can nullify AoE spells to the party.. love the synergy when a single splash of water covers a room just to electrocute everyone in it, then freeze it soon after.. and then we unleash the zombie hordes while everything is prone 😆
That sounds like an awesome combo!
I'm torn about multiclassing, If the level cap was 20 I would consider it, but only 12 levels feels so limiting.
I had no idea that you could respec everyone. This is turning out to be a great party comp for me!
I wonder what other crazy comps we can come up with
So wait… am I the only idiot that before proceeding to act 2, went back to the surface and did the mountain pass crèche area? is my ocd that bad?!
no not at all & it makes the most sense if u want to play every companions storyline
@@dov2mt that’s the thing, idc about every companion’s storyline. I’ve been playing since the 90’s and one thing I picked up that carries over to any and every game I play is “check every corner”. I can’t be the only one right? I mean, I restarted the game once I learned I can’t long rest before going in the mansion at waukeen’s rest. Doing so means the evnt is over, effectively missing out on potential loot. Idk man, I may have a problem.
i did the same but the other way around haha
I probably will since I haven't done it yet, But it just didn't flow with the run I was doing
@@thejury94 All good, it’s your run after all. I was just curious how many backtracked like I do.
imo, clerics are one of the most versatile classes in dnd (other than fighter, which has more versatility than i know what to do with.) you can go for pure healing, big damage, non-healing support, debuffs, etc etc. my current group has two clerics (tempest and death domains) and it's worked out great for us so far.
So many spells to choose from!
Agree, only druid is more versatile
Ah cleric my beloved. Light domain I love because it just fucking nukes everything
great run! Really Interesting decission to go for
Thanks!
People didn't play as a cleric because shadowheart is already a cleric and she's the most popular companion. Clerics are a top tier class especially tempest cleric
Yea its really hard to look past Shadowheart
I feel like this game's tone and art style is the first time a move or game has perfectly matched the style and tone of the story my imagination created when reading books - specifically R.A. Salvatore. This just looks fit's his writing tone so well. Makes me want to go back and read more stories in the forgotten realms, for sure
Its probably one of the best games I've ever played tbh
Clerics are so busted. I played a Wizard and dipped two of his levels into Tempest cleric just for funsies and it was maybe the best decisions I could’ve made. Also my favorite build in the game is easily 5 levels War cleric, 5 levels Paladin, and the last two levels are flexible
I need to try that Paladin Cleric build

There's actually a way to even the odds against nere and I only found it in my 5th playthrough. I fucking LOVE this game
I'll have to search for it
Fighter class, great weapon adept, great sword equipped. I was attacking 7-8 times off one turn with one person. Op asf
I laughed so hard at "Shallag? we're going to go with shallag. it's "Sheh-Lay-Lee"
Yes... as a half Irish, half Scottish man, my heart flipped upside down and exploded into pieces at the pronunciation...
BG3 Is basically sims :D
This is such a fun video! Well done!
Thank you!
I've started another campaign with a friend and I keep forgetting that we aren't all Clerics and charging into every fight and dying.
A whole party with various spells, good healing and good CA. No wonder why it's strong.
super strong!
A Tempest cleric wet lightning build easily does 500 damage a turn. It's so successful that my Wizard only uses cold and lightning spells on wet targets, too. Combat never goes over 3 rounds.
I'm gonna have to build this.
If I could get my Druid to concentrate on call lightning for more than ONE FRIGGIN TURN I would be using this often
@@DigitalWolverine Heh. One trick you can do is start with 15 Constitution, and then take the resilience feat to bump to 16 and gain advantage on CON saves. I always do this with a Shadowheart respec and it gets good results.
A group of all Clerics?
It’s the A-Men!
Official name
As a wise man once said, "four white mages? It would never work."
dark urge is the canon protag, they just didn't communicate that too well.
such an interesting story
I think the reason the forge didn't work is because you didn't have the lava flowing again.
The lava wasn't working, it kept saying it was stuck 🤷
Early BG3 no one wanted to play cleric because Shadoeheart is a mainstay in the majority of playthroughs.
Now everyone realised Tempest and Light clerics are two of the best classes in the game.
Good stuff. I only have 2 clerics in my party - war and light domains.
Oh - the pronunciation of shillelagh is shuh-ay-luh
Haha thanks :P
... The Alfira incident made me play the "good guy path"
Seriously was not expecting that!
Glad you found clerics to be so awesome but I'm bored with them tried creating one bored I don't even bring shadowheart in my party
ahh thats fair.
"Seriously without versatile and independently strong you can build a Cleric you can make up an entire party full of purely priests call it 'The A-MEN' and bust down Tiamat's door demanding her lunch money, and she would just build her own toilet to give herself swirlies so she wouldn't have to endure the kind of bullying you're about to give her." -JoCat
this is what i did also, i rebuilt them all with at least 1 lvl in cleric. the armor and extra heels were amazing.
its so good!
Cleric is indeed sneakingly overpowered, also when multiclassing.
Honestly a sleeper class
Spirit guardians was one of the most op spells on Shadowheart - especially with combination with dash boots.
OOOO dash boots
4 Gloomstalkers with Alert.
Something something people don’t like healing so wizards of the coast kept buffing clerics and now they’re one of the most overpowered classes in the game, and BG3 reflects that.
Haha yea I would believe it
This man said "Tactics??? Having 4 clerics IS the tactic!!"
Its god tier
