In the meantime, here are a couple of notes and thoughts that did not make it into the video: • Postponing the recruitment of Us was important to improve our odds at getting it as a temporary companion (thanks to bonuses from Guidance & Bardic Inspiration). Additionally, with Us in the party, killing the second intellect devourer for an extra 10 XP would not have been possible without Us turning hostile. To avoid that, crippling Us during recruitment is an option, but not recommended, as it makes Us weaker for the rest of the game. • The strategy for the last fight against the Mindflayer, Zhalk and the Cambions was inspired by RUclipsr "Shandrens Corner". I made a few changes to their approach, but also got very lucky with most of the important attacks hitting. • If you're just after the "Devil's in the Detail" achievement, I highly recommend just piling on Commander Zhalk with everything you have. With a bit of luck, he gets stunned from the Mindflayer and you can hit Faerie Fire at 100%. Zhalk will only target the Mindflayer, so you are not in any danger. • The Speed Potion found on the dead Mindflayer after the first fight is not a guaranteed drop. I know for a fact that you can defeat Zhalk and the Cambions without it, but it requires a lot of luck. • Speaking of achievements, with the addition of Honour Mode, there are now actually 54 achievements in the game.
I would like to see more. After about 23 minutes of your video, I must say that I totally like your presentation and style. It is also rather interesting to see, how things work out for your bard! After seeing the rest: That was great. Very nice to see all those optimizations put together!

There are probably hundreds of playtroughs of BG3 on YT, but non of them have your style. Style that will make this THE best and most complete playtrough. My only complaint is that there's not hundreds of episodes of this out for me to binge watch right now I have a bad habit of falling out of watching Pete Complete videos, usually when I've caught up with whatever series I was watching and the youtube algorithm fails to let me know when the next comes, but when I do return there's always a wonderful feeling of falling back in love with the videos that I just don't get from other content Sensational stuff Pete. Obviously I see there's another video so I do hope this will become a series, but even as a standalone this was a perfect taste of some of the fomo I felt running straight to the transponder in that Helm fight. Wish I could like a video a thousand times. Great work.

I completed 5 full playthroughs and currently going through dark urge run on honor mode. The game never gets boring and even now I'm still finding stuff new to me! I hope you enjoy the run as much as well.

Well. Seems like I've been playing wrong. That use of Mage Hands has totally blown me away! And the loot of the cambions! And the tactical moving and... sigh... I now see the similarities of combat with XCOM and will be rethinking my playstyle! Thank you! I'd love to see this as a series.
