For the fire resistance theme, you could have said that due to the house burning down, you trained your body over the years to be hardened against the flame. So that you no longer feared it's burning embrace.

When you finish resting you can just click the camp icon again and immediately teleport back to where you entered the camp from. You don't need to teleport somewhere else then run all the way back to where you were.
It's hard to wrap my head around just how much my personal life has changed during the time of this game's development. In six years I've lost touch with my friends (including my old D&D group), become consumed by a very difficult job, changed religions, got married, and, just recently, became a mother. It feels strange to get emotional over a video game, but of all my memories of my younger years, the days spent around the table slaying dragons with my friends are some of the only moments that I look back on with true warmth and fondness. I'm happy with the direction my life has gone, but I've always longed for those days of comradery and adventure. Watching your channel introduced me to the development of Baldur's Gate III and the undying passion of this community and the amazing team at Larian. I'm so grateful for the time you've taken to share not just the lore and mechanics of the game, but also the story behind it. Witnessing the true love that these artists have for their craft... it's reminded me that even though I'm now a 27-year-old housewife with a small social circle and many responsibilities, sometimes it's okay to take a break and slay some dragons. I can't wait to someday break open my old D&D rulebooks and give them to my son
That's great! Play On... RE old D&D books - I played in the 80s - I thought my mum had thrown them away years ago while de-cluttering her loft storage space... #sadface BUT it turns out, she kept them! Recently, I was footling around in the loft looking for bits and pieces, and there they were! Dungeon Masters Guide, Players Handbook and Monster Manual. OMG - the smell of the pages was so evocative of playing back in the 80s with my nerdy gang of heroes from school. I love how much care that Larian have lavished on this game... I can't wait to play.
As a fellow mom with a small circle of friends and missing tabletop groups, I wanted to share that my 10 year old daughter just expressed interest in playing D&D for the first time. I'm so excited to start sharing the experience with her. It was a long wait in some ways, but the time passes so quickly in others.
Growing up playing d&d, it's so badass to see games like this and movies like the most recent one looking exactly like the stuff i had to use my imagination for. So incredible!!

This is incredible.. I played BG1 and BG2 many times with addons in the hardest difficulty.. These are the games I played and enjoyed the most in my while life! Now im working as a doctor, I have 2 kids and simply not the time to play this incredible masterpiece.. thank you so much for taking me back to my childhood and for letting me have an incredible time!
fire resistance does fit the original concept. the most tragic day in your back story was born of fire. you could have survivor's guilt.. if only the flames didn't send fear down your body, you could have mustered the strength to save your mother. that passion/guilt has attuned your body and soul to flames, so others would not burn due to your weakness.

I’ve been working through my own solo playthrough Running a Monk/Druid with my companions mostly solo classing Trying to play good alignment. I’ve found myself saving the grove, both children at risk of harm. Took out the adventurers at the ruins, and have stayed on good terms with Auntie Ethel (Somehow, and for no reason other than her hair) I slaughtered the Goblins Even managed to avoid killing Minthra (Knocked her unconscious TWICE, and Halsin’s quest and the grove quest updated) I made one mistake if you’ll call it that. I looted ALL of minthra’s items so she is now stark ass nude wandering the realm
Moving forward I don’t know what to expect. Having fear struck into me by the Githyanki Crèche I’ve avoided really speaking to them I’m returning to areas I’ve been already too dot my i’s and line my T’s before proceeding into the underdark or mountain pass
This games going to have more longevity than Skyrim where builds are concerned. Possibilities are huge!!! Thinking where modders then add the missing classes it's going to be absolutely insane

2:12:15 - For the bandits in the church ruins, you can talk to the boss up near where your party originally was. You don't need to split them up and send them weird ways. As a monk i told the leader that the ship wouldn't bring him what he thinks it will, and isn't worth risking his life over. I like how often [monk] chat options show up lol. I'm not even that far in but it's come in useful a bunch already. I went for a wise and charismatic monk so i enjoy having the extra dialogue options. I love the variety of ways you can approach situations in BG3 so far.

I am new to ur channel and new to role playing games. I was searching for a good play through of this game. The love u have for this universe and genre , has me convinced that it’s gotta be this play through. Also, u share the same obsession of looting everything and exploring as me , which I like. If u r like me who easily get “burdened “ by other people expectations, then I just wanna say don’t fell pressured, I don’t mind if u rush the series or take it slow, I know I am going to enjoy the journey nonetheless. I love how you wrote a origin story for your character! I kinda did the same, but didn’t write it. I’m an Oath of Vengeance Paladin named Revan (After my fav Star Wars character). At some point in the story when I encounter something evil that temps me too much, I’m going to break my oath and follow the path of darkness. Using necrotic abilities and unleashing terror upon the world until one day the power of love brings me back to the light. 🥹 really enjoying this game so far and looking forward to your Let’s Play series! 🤙🏼
I found you after seeing your name mentioned in the BG3 subreddit, and I have to say that so far you're doing really well as a first-time Lets Player; I'm reminded a little of people like Veriax, for example. My PC needs some attention before I can actually play, but I did mess about with EA, so I'm watching this to ease my wait, thank you! :)
I still don’t know how people can play turn based games. There’s no action. That’s part of the fun for games like Diablo, Skyrim, etc. seems boring without the action of combat
this is an amazing game but spiderman 2 is more iconic you can't deny that I don't know much ppl who talk about baldurs gate not hating but makes no sense how spiderman 2 didn't win atleast 1 award.
For other players i would 100% recommend respecing Shadowheart to a different cleric subclass as hers isn't the most useful unless you are a melee rogue.
I watched very little of this because i didnt want to spoil myself but it's been long enough that I can now sit back, relax, and watch someone else play this game!

I played this game back in early access as soon as it came out and never played it again. I did this on purpose. Now I have so much updates to catch up on let alone the full game release. Everything is new to me again. The game is out now and it feels like a brand new game to me all over again. I glad I never played it again after the first time so I can experience this feeling :D

I’ve been working through my own solo playthrough
Running a Monk/Druid with my companions mostly solo classing
Trying to play good alignment. I’ve found myself saving the grove, both children at risk of harm.
Took out the adventurers at the ruins, and have stayed on good terms with Auntie Ethel (Somehow, and for no reason other than her hair)
I slaughtered the Goblins
Even managed to avoid killing Minthra (Knocked her unconscious TWICE, and Halsin’s quest and the grove quest updated)
I made one mistake if you’ll call it that. I looted ALL of minthra’s items so she is now stark ass nude wandering the realm
Moving forward I don’t know what to expect. Having fear struck into me by the Githyanki Crèche I’ve avoided really speaking to them
I’m returning to areas I’ve been already too dot my i’s and line my T’s before proceeding into the underdark or mountain pass
This games going to have more longevity than Skyrim where builds are concerned. Possibilities are huge!!! Thinking where modders then add the missing classes it's going to be absolutely insane

2:12:15 - For the bandits in the church ruins, you can talk to the boss up near where your party originally was. You don't need to split them up and send them weird ways. As a monk i told the leader that the ship wouldn't bring him what he thinks it will, and isn't worth risking his life over. I like how often [monk] chat options show up lol. I'm not even that far in but it's come in useful a bunch already. I went for a wise and charismatic monk so i enjoy having the extra dialogue options. I love the variety of ways you can approach situations in BG3 so far.

I am new to ur channel and new to role playing games. I was searching for a good play through of this game. The love u have for this universe and genre , has me convinced that it’s gotta be this play through. Also, u share the same obsession of looting everything and exploring as me , which I like.
If u r like me who easily get “burdened “ by other people expectations, then I just wanna say don’t fell pressured, I don’t mind if u rush the series or take it slow, I know I am going to enjoy the journey nonetheless.
(I know u also have a channel to grow, so maybe doing what other people want is a necessity)

I love how you wrote a origin story for your character! I kinda did the same, but didn’t write it. I’m an Oath of Vengeance Paladin named Revan (After my fav Star Wars character). At some point in the story when I encounter something evil that temps me too much, I’m going to break my oath and follow the path of darkness. Using necrotic abilities and unleashing terror upon the world until one day the power of love brings me back to the light. 🥹 really enjoying this game so far and looking forward to your Let’s Play series! 🤙🏼

I still don’t know how people can play turn based games. There’s no action. That’s part of the fun for games like Diablo, Skyrim, etc. seems boring without the action of combat

this is an amazing game but spiderman 2 is more iconic you can't deny that I don't know much ppl who talk about baldurs gate not hating but makes no sense how spiderman 2 didn't win atleast 1 award.
For other players i would 100% recommend respecing Shadowheart to a different cleric subclass as hers isn't the most useful unless you are a melee rogue.

I played this game back in early access as soon as it came out and never played it again. I did this on purpose. Now I have so much updates to catch up on let alone the full game release. Everything is new to me again. The game is out now and it feels like a brand new game to me all over again. I glad I never played it again after the first time so I can experience this feeling :D
