I been riding for a while now, got my fulls just this year. I remember I watched this video when I was preparing my P's. It is good to come back to old video, and I love how the instructor is energetic and friendly in this video
Solid effort man. This would definetly be helpful for anyone that does this test! :)
Yes it would!
only just got my Ls and am already looking at this to know what i need to do ahahaha
@@Bunny_Mumbome toooo have mine test in a week!
@@shannonleaver7974was it the same as this or has it changed 😅
Great video - just passed this test (which is still current no changes 7yrs later!)
Just remember to take your time and not rush, also you can choose the speed and gear so do what is comfortable - some people that failed in my group either rushed too fast or far too slow. Also the Stay Upright full day course seem to give you at least 45mins to practice before the actual test so all these manoeuvres won't be new when you actually test!
Passed today, only one in the group with 0 errors :) best advice is seriously just relax and be calm. Thanks for the video man!
That's good advice for any time you are on the bike. Relax and be calm :)
Good on ya buddy are you proud mate??
Thank you so much. I did my pre-learner at SU Rouse Hill and will do the MOST there as well. I was a bit afraid of the test, but having this fottage has helped a lot!
Thanks for the Clear and helpful video. I have seen it many times and it has helped me a lot. I passed my MOST today with zero points incurred. cheers.
Passed my MOST today. And I have this video to thank! Cheers Mate if you're still reading these comments!
Easily the best video on the MOST test. Thanks for posting
Thank you for this video. Just passed this today with no points. Guys, just practice these skills a bit and get familiar with the maneuvers and you will be fine. If you are using their little 125's I found it much easier to shift into 2nd for the quick stop. The bike is much more steady and you won't skid nearly as much. I am not the greatest rider and passed easily. Just take your time. Watching this about 5 times helped me a lot though because you know exactly how the course is going to go. Don't let your nerves make you think that you can't do the maneuvers!
This video helped me so much when it came to the test, gave me an idea of what to look for and what to practice, did the test on my cbr250r and passed with 0 points lost
Thanks for posting this video! I’ve watched this so many times just to make sure I was doing it all right! I did my test yesterday and passed!! 😁
I’ve ridden a motorcycle since i was a kid, but I might fail this test because i can’t understand her instructions since im not a native english speaker
I agree bro
You can ask them to speak slower and when they ask you if you have any questions - and you feel like you do have questions - just say yes and ask the question to clarify what they want from you.
You need to be able to perform the tasks and in order to do so, you need to understand the task. Never be too shy to ask them, if you do not understand something.
@@petegallows5494 thank you. I am planning to move to melbourne and I want to get my bike license there. I do ride motorcycles in my country i’ve ridden zh2, and other big bikes. when I want to get my license do I still have to get the Learner permit and then the P license? sorry for asking too much
They will show you all the movements first on paper
@@CornDawgOG thank you so much for the reply. hopefully I can pass the test 🙏🏻
I must have watched this video at least 20 times before going for my MOST. Thanks for the vid!
A great and helpful video tutorial. Many thanks for the upload. Watched it a million times !
What a solid effort. Thank you for the video. Going to take my test in mid August but hopefully I can get in earlier on a waiting list in late July.
very helpful for the ones who have not seen the actual conditions and are visiting for the first time.
Thanks for the video. I am undertaking the most test here in NSW soon and this clarifies it a lot!
Thanks SO much for this video. I'm currently on my L's and so this video has been most helpful!
This vid definitely helped me get zero on my test yesterday so thanks!
Thanks heaps for recording and sharing this! It will definitely help me in a few months
Cheers Mate it helps me a lot, i watched it even before my final test during the breaktime..
At 50yrs old, I had to go sit for my bike License again. After watching this clip maybe 100 times, I passed my M.O.S.T. first go. I hired a bike because my SV650 is a little heavy for the slower stuff. I believed I was doing the test on a CB 125, but they gave me the shittiest CHONDA 125 ever... Thanks for the clip - made my test so much easier knowing what I was up for...
I have an sv 650 to and I've hired a cb 125 for the same reason, my test is tomorrow.
Do you think 50yo is old?
Had to get in the "Ducati's mine" at the end! Good effort and thanks for sharing.
Thanks bud, managed to pass my test with no demerits thanks to your video!
This course looks really well set out and clear. I cant believe the state of the one in Wollingbar NSW. Done in a small car park with faded lines and uneven surface not to mention it's on a hill.
Thanks for uploading!
This is so much easier than the part of the test we have to do in the UK you guys have it easy
Useful video in prepping for my test. Thanks for the upload
Thanks for making this video man , big thumbs up! Im about to go for my test this sunday and i find those cones looks verry intimidating :(
Legend! Passed today thanks to your video
great video mate. Watched it a few times before I did my MOST test last friday and I can say helped me pass as it gave me a good view of the test course layout since during the practice hour you are not allowed to practice on the actual test course. Did it on my cbr250r and was fine except for the u turn but that was more me then the bike.
That is the biggest problem, that you cannot practice on the actual test field!
Her name is Bec and she's the best riding instructor Australia has ever known.
She's trained the best but doesn't like the spotlight.
God bless you Bec.
I'm not dead yet and it's all thanks to you.
I have been riding all through my childhood. Did my Stay Upright course 29 years ago and I still use the skills they taught me today. Pay attention and take the course seriously.....it might just save your life.
Got my test tomorrow...... thanks for the video!!
thanks for the great vid! I must've watched it 20 times. passed yesterday with 0 points!
Jonathan McFeat
Congrats mate! Ride safe.
Same for me today. Fat doughnut. Great video.
Made it look easy. Good work.
Mate. This is going to be a great help. Thanks!
Passed with zero points thanks to this video. Legend mate 👍
Thanks bro, great video..!! It is helped me to get zero on my test today. Thank you very much.
I'm doing my MOST tomorrow. just going to use my VTR250. It's pretty nimble. This video is really handy. I'm going to watch it a few time today. Thanks for uploading.
And I passed, 0 points. Thanks again for this video, it really helped.
how was it on the vtr? Ive got a 2001 and can't decide wether to use it or just use the bikes they have there
Just completed mine yesterday, interesting to see how others do!
Thank you Buddy
This is going to be so helpful!!
Going on feb 10th. Feeling more comfortable knowing how it looks. Thanks man.
InfiniteCaliber did ya get it
Passed yesterday. Thanks!
Excellent instructing course looks very understandable
Thanks mate, appreciated and well done!
M be
Great insight for learners!
thank you this helps me a lot
Cheers for the upload I was worried about failing lol
I so confuse in 4:23 . What do these numbers mean? I mean if I stop fast at the end of “white lines” , that will happen for me? I would get higher score or? Thank you very much!
Thanks, now I know what to expect for when Im gonna do mine in April
Just passed my MOST. Highly recommend hiring the cb125's, unless you're on a scooter or small bike. I was struggling in practice on my own on test day, but ended up getting a perfect score.
Their clutch if VERY forgiving, and super easy to turn.
Also, just relax.
Can I use a scooter 110cc for the test in NSW? is there any restrictions afterwards to ride a manual motorbike? Thank you
I fell on the brake test🤦🏼♂️, first i was ok but the trainer told me to do it again because im a bit to slow, the 2nd one i went faster and i fell to the side because the bike skid when i hit the brakes hard..🤦🏼♂️im using a manual Vespa PX, this test looks easy but when u get nervous it will make it harder.....any tips on that brake? Should i just keep it in 1st gear?
Is it mandatory to wear all protection gear like gloves, jackets and ankle boots while giving the test??
This is so helpful! Thankyou ! What did you use to record btw ? Would be great to have that sort of dashcam for insurance purposes, etc while riding.
thanks, helped me a lot
Are there any other parts to the test before you get the licence or is this it?
To any one who is nervous, please relax, it's not a tough test.
I passed mine last month. If you are nervous of other students watching you, please raise your concern with the instructor and he/she will ask others to look away or stay away and no one will judge you, it is a fair testing system (except that 1 irrelevant guy you met that day).
We had one guy, who was really good during our practice session & once the real test started he panicked and messed it all up and failed. All he had to do was raise it with the instructor. Yes, we would have moved to some corner. That inflated ego is not worth comparing to the motorcycle you are going buy and ride on a highway.
great video,so even now the route of test is still the same ? looks like the lady said a lot and not sure if could remember what she says. so just remebet the video route will be ok ? thx
soo... you don't need to head check before moving onto the next manoeuvre?
Very helpful mate
so doesent take very long? - will be going for mine in 2 months
Did you guys have to do an on-road assessment too?
Anyone know if this is the same as the WA test ?
Great effort
Excellent.
Is this the first ever test for Ls or a intermediate/advanced?
I'll be doing this in a few weeks time hopfully. Zero riding experience so that's a great insight into what's involved in the test.
Hopefully you did your Ls by now :P this is the test to get your Ps.
Is this the whole test for getting your p plates?
For the last test, did you break at all?
I just passed the L plates. 3 months later I’m going to do P plates. Going to watch it now. And I will do it in rouse hill too.
Laoly老李 is this L plate test or P? Abit confuses
well done! great video :)
Who'd dislike this video? Jesus, some people are right tools.
I have just bought a Kawasaki zzr 250 that needs to be ridden hard to get anywhere, slow speeds even at clutch friction point and dragging the brake still feel unstable so how much was the cb to hire?
Sam Livingstone I failed my test on my ZZR 250, I found it so difficult to do the U turn box and the cone weave. everyone I've spoken to with the same bike had to rent one of theirs or borrow someone elses bike for it
I actually done my L's here, now going to book for a P's soon.
really helpful cheers
Just passed thanks for this video!!
Skylake Media hey mate are a loud to pull hold the clutch when doing the u turn or do u have to maintain speed ?
@@yaboiking-kong3198 I had constant throttle and used the clutch and rear brake to maintain a good speed while doing the u-turn. You can do anything as long as you don't put your foot down
Does anyone know of you get to practice the test there ?
Before you get tested. Your supposed to be there the whole day so surely you need to be doin something
How do loosing points work?
cheers dude
So the whole test takes around 5 mins?!
8/7/2020 is when I do my test so watching this religiously hahaha
So What's after that ?
Hey mate, top effort. You looked like you already knew the course straight away; so did you practice the test a lot prior? (not meaning on the day lol)
+zhukie Hi mate, no I haven't had any test practice per say before hand, but I did ride my bike a fair bit in the 3 months of my learners! They pretty much make you practice the test over the course of 4 hours or so before the test anyway.
I’m doing mine on the 17th doesn’t seem too hard
Did you stay in gear one the whole test or did you had to go up to two like on the braking test?
Jane Nogia Did it all in first gear mate
Hey man. Did you take the test on your own bike or hire a bike for the day. I ride a cbr500 and had a few people telling me to hire the cbr125 to make the skills easier. Just interested to know your thoughts
Matthew Hurn Hi mate, hired one of their bikes. I tried the mock test on my monster that I was riding back then and decided against using that. You should be okay on a CBR500, but the CB125 will definitely make the test easier than it already is.
great vid, super solid effort as well......why did you rent a bike if the ducati is yours? im on an 04 620ie so im curious?
The ducati was a terrible bike to do the test on, steering lock is terrible to do the u turn and cone weave.
This test looks very easy compare to what i did in my country
When doing the u turn are u able to pull on the clutch ?
Yes
Awesome video, I wonder if the test has changed since 2015? Which maneuver did u find the most challenging?
Just passed the test and nothing has changed :)
@@mrmaxwell3564 Congrats!
For anyone interested in following the video alongside the RMS handbook.
www.rms.nsw.gov.au/roads/licence/rider/tests/practical-riding-test/test-manoeuvres.html
Did you hire the CBR or was it yours? I'm considering hiring the smaller lighter bike than my Versys 650 for mine to make it easier.
The CBR used looks like the Stay Upright one for hire with the protective side bars
are the tests the same in all states? Like what about for SA?
Different tests.
Very helpful video mate. Thanks a ton. On the tests did you just stay in gear 1 the whole time?
Never mind. I passed. Today was the test and you were the single best info out there on the real test. I had some questions in mind such as do they let you practise a bit before (nope) and if you need to be on any other gear (was just on 1st gear the whole time) and so on. But all good. All good. Thanks again mate.
Congrats mate, yeah I stayed in 1st the whole test part as well.
I'm planning on doing my MOST test here in NSW soon, probably gonna hire one of their cbr125's.. I'm told that doing that u-turn on my ninja 250 would be a nightmare.
Also, if you rent one of their bikes for the day do you have to use it when they take you out on the road or can you use your own bike?
Thanks for the footage.
+Louis Dwyer
They gave me an option to use my bike through the day, but I chose to stick with the CB125E just to get used to the bike. Big difference compared to my bike.
+Louis Dwyer Hey mate, not sure if you've done the test yet but i did it the other day on my ninja 250, absolutely no problem, 0 points incured, you'll be fine!
+Mttogo T hey mate im gonna be doing my MOSTtest this sunday but i do not have a bike. did you have to pre arrange bike hire or do they have some spares you can hire on the day? im doing it at loftus nsw.
TIA mate!
+Garagefix hey mate did you have to pre arrange their bike hire or was there bikes ready for hire on the day? please read my previous comment it was actually for you. thanks
+Aldo Lafuente Medina Its best to pre arrange but chances are you can get one on the day too, but id book ahead just in case!
This looks like so much fun... unfortunately never ridden before so it might be difficult
Looked through the comments, is this a test to get on the provisional licence?
Yes, in Australia
Did you pass mate?
Can you get an interpreter for this test?
