I'm actually quite happy the minibots are getting upgraded to deluxe scale, waiting for my boy powerglide to get one...maybe they can give him a figure of a young woman to homage "the girl who loved Powerglide"
@@fulcrumagent it was the first episode of the series I ever remember watching, I was around 4, maybe 5 years old. I re-watched it recently since it's on youtube and it is a pretty silly episode. The titular girl seems to have some kind of jynx where machines just screw up around her which is much more interesting than the fact that she's an immature crybaby
Thanks for the insightful review. I do like that you're more critical than EmGo and PrimeVsPrime would have been. As for me, I think the robot mode looks better than the previous incarnation, but I like that dune buggy mode less. The "windows" on the front are way too high, how could the driver even see? Oh, right, doesn't need a driver. ;-) On the Power of the Primes buggy, I much prefer the proportions and the added gray everywhere as well as the silver on the back. That Autobot logo on the front cover, either big or small, is a big omission on the new model.
This version of Beachcomber? Kinda reminds me of the Classics figure. Definitely isn't bad, but the altmode is bland. The PotP version had better paint in vehicle mode.
SMALL FOR THE MONEY? Man that thing scales too big. A dune buggy BIGGER & WIDER than a Lamborghini? Or a classic American jeep? I like the Beachcomber but I often wonder why he’s so big for a “minibot”. I don’t think “minibots” even exist anymore do they? Since they’re making them Sunbow/Marvel TV show accurate.
where's the dudes mouth ?!? But I cannot justify $25 for this bot. The PotP's was $10... no way is this new one $15 more... no way. Since I'm ok with the PotP version I will probably pass on this one. Put that $25 somewhere else... like where's Tarn (for $35 LOL ) ?
can’t wait for windcharger seaspray gears and powerglide to finish the original minibots
A year later & STILL none of these. Because Hasbro has bums working there.
I love THIS figure especially the lil detail of the steering wheel and dashboard in buggy mode 👍👌
0:29 Cute!
I also like this Beachcomber, but in robot mode. The buggy mode looks weird with the "windshield" for toes.
Beachcomber comes with a bird accessory, 10/10
I have such a mighty need for a Green G2 Holiday recolour.
The bird is a nice touch. The Golden Lagoon was an excellent episode.
If we ever get a Legacy Ironfist, I'd love for it to be this small and simple in terms of design and transformation. Great review as always!
Hopefully in August for him, favour mini bots. Need season 3 mini bot, Powergulide, Outback, Seaspray, Tailgate and Swerve to finish.
Did anyone ever figure out why they made beach combers personality and character design and VOICE resemble Bing Crosby so much? Lol
I love how the heels become seats in vehicle mode!
Can't wait to get this guy. C'mon Hasbro, ship my order already!

I try to forget that episode exists

Do you have the rest of the new legacy figures for reviewing?

He looks like he transforms almost exactly the same as potp....
“Time to feed parakeet”
I need my bois Seaspray and Powerglide next
I'd like to see him in red as buggyman
Son of a Beach 🤣🤣
Can the bird fit in the peg hole next to the rear tires?
Well, I need this figure because of the bird!
Lol that video title tho

Generation 2 Repaint for Beachcomber.
Nahhhhh they are doing that trigger con named Ruckus. He’s beachcomber in pretender shell bludgeon colours
Which one? Crome blue or chrome green? I had both growing up.
Happy 4th of july
I love your videos and u are incredible
The bird can go in the hole on the arm

Cute and cool 😎
He comes evry beatch
It's funnier if the title is SUN of a Beach. 🤣
RUBBER TIRES
Sup
wise decision for not using actual rubber. It's know for cracking over time.
