Amazing Case of Fractured Teeth Restored with Zirconia Crown

- Yes! 7 years the patient waited before he finally restored his teeth. The patient had an accident that caused the fracture. We first restored the teeth with root canal therapy, followed by a core-build up using Rebilda DC, and finally fitted it with a Zirconia Crown for longevity.

I am a dentist who has been practicing for 31 years. I enjoy watching your videos during my spare time and we all can learn something from each other. I admire your work, and enjoy seeing another dentist who tries to do the best he can do for his patient. When ever I have to send a case back to the lab for them to re-do it, I do it since it is my reputation that is on the line, and I want to be known to do good work. Nice final results with tooth #8 and 9.
Wow..this means a lot coming from an experienced dentist! Thank you so much@
Im missing 10 teeth at 26 and I have no way to afford the treatment. What am I supposed to do? so depressing. Please give me any advice possible.
@@suomynona idk if it's available where you live but maybe you can try going to a dental school that would treat you for free or at a subsidized cost
@@prodmxllo yeah i know, but i just got a exray and they told me ALL of my teeth need to be pullled and replaced. Im beyond sad and depressed. I just dont see any way of fixing this. Ill regret this for the rest of my life.
I was extremely overwhelemed that I needed half my teeth replaced. But found it has to be ALL of them. :(
Im so stupid for letting this happen. I did this to myself. All I think about 24/7 is all i want is to get my teeth fixed. I have not smiled in 5 years.
I sure wished I lived near your office. You sound like you have integrity and care. God bless you sir.
To be fair, dentists can be really expensive, and just because its expensive doesn't mean you will get what you want or that the dentist is a good one. Honestly I just feel bad that he had to wait 7 years to get that right budget and dentist worked out. Glad the patient found you tho, from what I've seen in your videos your a really good dentist!

A great dentist is worth every single penny. Amazing work. He must have felt fantastic with every photo of him laughing and smiling taken afterwards. So wonderful to see someone given their confidence back. In this case, I'm sure he wasn't even aware of how being confident in his smile even felt anymore. you are simply representing the elegance of dentistry . thank you so much for your video . I will be glad if you mention the material you are using in the description . thank a lot .
It's good to see someone restored their teeth after 7 years.
Me on the other side I can't afford to go to any dentist for my teeth is too damage that still until now it's getting more damage and with that the payment is too expensive for me. I am 19 years old with more than 15 damaged teeth and I am so insecure about it. I feel ashamed and too scared that even eating with people near me scares me. I am also anemic that I think one of the reason why my teeth is weak other than not brushing properly and eating sweets and drinking sodas.
I hope somebody can help me restore my teeth. And bring the smile that I've lost more than a decade now.
I feel this, I’m 21 in a very similar situation. We’ll smile! I’m always trying to learn about stuff in the state but if I can’t I’m looking into travel dental which idk if you’ve looked into is typically cheaper than in states

WOW!!!! I know everyone jokes about man why do dentists make so much money? This this is why....those new teeth looks amazing!!! Sadly there are many many dentists out there that would have been like yeah those 2 front teeth need to go and we are just going to get you one of those flipper retainer type thing that you pop in and they would have 2 teeth on it to mimick the 2 front ones, basically they would just pull them and not have a care in the world. This was amazing to watch, please keep posting for all of us! 😃
As someone who has had a similar procedure, front teeth replaced, its life changing. You are amazing and helping people tremendously! Good job!
approximately how much does it cost?
@@EarthAngel504 well, it can depend on many things. Area that you live, what teeth, skill of your dentist. For me, I went to a well established dentist in my area with two practices, she is amazing. But I would say about 2k a tooth. Thats on the higher end. I see some advertisements for 1k a tooth. Which is probably more realistic. I had more than just my front teeth done so hard to give you an exact cost. I think fromt teeth are cheaper because it most likely is a diff type of crown procedure but I would expect to pay about 1k a tooth at least. Hope that helps you

Hey doc I got a minor chip on the front surface (facing my gums) of my molar tooth. I know if you seen it you would have a better idea but do you think it is best to have it filled or leave it? Seeing stories of how people got it filled them when I came off it took more tooth with it. Is that true ? Thank you !

Dentists can be artists too. Just wow!
Most Dentists would have those two teeth extracted and put in a post and an implant for each tooth which will end up costing a fortune and very time consuming. I am glad you saved those two teeth and build them back up for the crowns.
I had a friend that was murdered about 20 years ago, her name was Katie Poirer and the way they got the guy who did it was because she had recently had a filing in her tooth and they found it in the fire pit. Her dentist had used a brand new material that that was rare at the time it had only been used on a few people, none of which who were missing.
You should give TempBond Clear a try, it can be lightcured as well, tends not to leave any residue behind when taking a temporary crown off and excess can come off in one piece, it doesn't tend to allow invasion of plaque I've seen and it's always nice to not have to scale too hard to have an issue of bleeding after taking a temporary off!
Definitely the best one I've seen used so far.
Sucked that you had to send it back, but it happens! The final result was good, the tech did a great job with including the translucency as well!
It's rare for Doctors nowadays to not settle for just OK work, instead of keeping the first ones with that gap, you weren't happy with them and had them remade! Good job! Wish I had more Dentists like that here in the USA that worked on me.
Thank you so much!

finding a dentist you can truly trust is hard, many will create problems on purpose so you keep coming back, the solution is to take care of your teeth so you can avoid dirty dentists entirely.
You're phenomenally skilled
Thankbyou
Thank you for the instructions. I will now proceed with repairing my tooth.
Fabulous! What great work you do.
Can't wait to see the 5-year outcome for this case. The right central incisor has a high risk of fracture where the crown comes off with all of the core build-up and some of the tooth structure and then there's nothing to do. I certainly hope your patient is well aware of the short term risks of failure. Assuming that proper informed consent is granted, this is masterful work. Very well done. You truly contributed to give your patient the best chance possible to keep his teeth.
Also, I understand that you didn't want to put a post because of the angulation but I encourage you to take into account your very own philosophy about adhesion: you decided to not use a post and rely only on adhesion to tooth structure. While I respect that, may I point out that adhesion also works on posts. Putting a post in this tooth, especially in a case of bad angulation, could have given an even better outcome especially because your build-up material would've been bonded to a structure (the post) that is in an angle which makes it even more difficult to fail and come off.
Thank you so much for this.. yes..it is the best we can do in the tooths condition.. this might end up with extraction after some years..but atleast it got delayed..the patient is still too young for extraction and possible bone loss..
Heroic dentistry isn’t always the right way. Longevity will not be the case here.
Which country are Dr Arkhe
@@DrArkhedeLeon when is old enough for possible bone loss?

Nice to have money
I had went to a dentist and during doing my root canal he goes we got one next door but never offered to fix it. Then he goes I can replace your fillings. BIG MISTAKE, he didn't take x Rays and he drilled the same tooth on both sides that had never been filled or had anything wrong with them, anyway he drilled them completely and filled them with so much filling you see the blackness through both teeth. He drilled and filled all my back teeth with unnecessary fillings to make more money for himself. I thought that's his job surely he wouldn't jeopardize it by doing that when he didn't have to. Boy was I wrong! And a friend of mine warned me about him. I should have listened to her. So now I have a horrible fear of not to trust dentists and I hate that cause you need a dentist. He asked me does your jaw pop I can file down your jaw. He didn't care about the pain you were going to go through just so he can make money by ruining your mouth. That crook needs to lose his license.
Beautiful prep
My question is is it permanent or require maintances except brushing?
One of the best dentist I've seen here on YT! Although I'm not excited to see my hygienist & dentist every 6 months 😅, I like watching your work in here.. I'll be seeing both of them in Nov. I've decided that it's time to get braces to fix my 2 front teeth. It's crooked and grew slightly inwards. The problem is I've lost all my molar teeth on the right side.. the lower molar was pulled out when I was 12. The upper molar teeth along with my wisdom was removed in 2020 as it was far down and my dentist said that it would cause more problems in the future. From your old videos.. you mentioned that, even without the molar teeth, it is still possible to have braces, although it might be a challenge. I was thinking maybe I should get 1 implants on my upper and lower to replace my molar teeth. Would that actually help with the process? since they won't be moving around, I thought maybe they would help when pulling/tightening the braces.
It would be better to have braces first before you do implant.. it would be more difficult to move teeth if you gave an implant already..
It is not uncommon that most dentist just suggest pulling out the teeth so as to get an implant under this situation.
But you take the challenge with a lot of hard works, skill, patient and determine to save a patient's " REAL" teeth.
Really appreciate !!!
As usual, you just make another "Piece of Art" and a "Smile Face".
Don't know why RUclips stop notify me your video. I have to un-subscribe and re-subscribe it with the Bell notifcation "ALL" to receive the video again.
Always enjoy watching your video, thks !

This! I thought my front teeth were going to need to be pulled and I was going to need implants or a partial. I have bad acid erosion from sugary drinks. My dentist showed me my bridge options, then just looked at me and said he wants to try (and he thinks he can) save my natural teeth, so that’s what we’re going to strive for. I was so stoked to hear him say that. Having bad teeth really does hurt your self esteem.

Beautiful restoration!
Great work!
I had recently got my teeth removed that looks like that (got numbness until now in my lower left lip even after a week). If I was given the option to do root canal, I would've thought about it.
I've had some traumatic experiences with dental works and check ups. Some, because the dentists and the staff are looking at you as if you did something really bad because your teeth is not in good shape as the others and blaming you for not flossing or brushing enough.
Dental check ups are, let's be honest, expensive. For someone who's in a family who cant even afford a small packet of toothpaste every week when I was young and could barely have much, dental health is far from my family's concern unless it aches. Gurgling salt water wasnt enough to protect the teeth in the long run.
In our family, I am also the one with teeth issue because I have a tooth gap and that gave me immense insecurity. So, in my young mind, the thought of just taking all of my teeth away and replace it with "good no gap teeth" was truly etched until I grew older. If my tooth aches even a little, I had it extracted. Only one or two dentists (one being the one I prefer but he is almost always away on meetings, vacation, or seminars) told me to save my teeth but the alternative was not something I could afford. My salary was barely enough to pay for the ever increasing debts and needs in the family. Most of the other dentists I go to would pull the tooth and be done with it. Along with the look of disgust. Some, thankfully, are professional enough.
I've had dentures since I was a teenager and more teeth fell despite the fillings and 2x brush. That added to my insecurity. I am still very afraid of going to the dentist clinic but I still go whenever necessary. Especially nowadays that I can afford to save my remaining teeth.
But seeing you work, I feel like my fear has gone down a bit. I'll probably still have tremors and palpitations due to fear but I'll remember how you work and maybe, I can find a dentist like you. And now, because of your videos, I plan to save my remaining teeth.
Thank you so much for the appreciation. Will upload more videos soon.
i can relate, i really had the same experience. when i saw this video i felt like i should find this dentist so where is your clinic doc?
I can kinda understand where he's coming from. There's nothing worse that treating an abscess at home when you know there's someone out there that can help you but you physically can't bring yourself to walk through those doors. I've been waiting almost as long but my wait was created from a fear of dentists due to trauma at a young age.
I've gotten over that fear as an adult but now it's down to me just finding a dentist who is able to handle the chaos and challenges I'm sure my teeth have after so many years! Its a lot harder that expected 😔
He waited because the lack the budget not because of trauma
@@ginglee4199 That is why I said "kinda understand", as in not fully because I had a somewhat different reason but we both have waited for long lengths of time
yeah im dealing with an abcess i cant afford for the fental procedures at the moment luckly enough the hospital i went to they drained some pus out and gave me IV antibiotics there and sent me home with prescription antibiotics the swelling and the abcess is close to being gone but i def have to save right now to get the tooth pulled out :[
