@@myk1_sp mine had a C6 auto before I swapped in the ZF5. I did the ZF5 for the overdrive and it works good but the shifting is not that great on mine but I got is used/rebuilt so who knows the internal condition. So far I’ve got 15k miles on it with no issues.

Hell ya! Old is new and actually better these days! I’d say the manual choke was a good idea, went with electric choke on a edelbrock 500 on my 300 and wish I’d just done manual choke
Where'd you nab them gauges, man? Edit: nvm saw a different comment. That truck is bad as can be. You have inspired me to do a turbo 300 on my 73 Dentside. Godspeed you magnificent bastard
Everybody has their own opinion and to me it sounds like it needs a muffler. I have had some pretty loud cars but now that I am older I like a more refined power sound.
Honestly me too, it has a muffler but it also has an electric exhaust cutout which was open for this video. I don’t care for how the current flowmaster muffler sounds but changing it out isn’t high on my priority list right now. I actually kind of like the tinny sound of flowmasters, maybe I’ll put one on this summer.
Love your truck, it's an awesome build. But for the best sounding 300 on RUclips, I'm gonna have to call you out on that one. Stock internals and bottom end on this engine, aside from cam and valve train. Stock compression bumped up a little from having the head decked. Running 8psi
I bet that thing is a blast in the snow, all that torque and no weight.

How's the performance with the ZF5 compared to the T19 (I think)?

@@TheTurnerFarm That's an awesome swap! I hope it's treating you well. :)
First and last truck you’ll ever need. Damn shame Ford stopped producing the 300

That gauge cluster is clean!
