    i'm not a guitar player but recently was trying to make metal using digital instruments and digital amps, and i never really played with EQ or thought they would affect sounds like they did. when you cut the mids all the way and turned the bass up almost all the way, i thought that was weird, but when the guitar was played to demonstrate the sound, it definitely sounds like the heavy metal tone i know and love so i'll be trying this. thank you!

    Yes, boost pedal is a game changer for metal with lower gain setting to remove fizz on top. Any chinese boost pedal with a noise gate if you can is amazing.

    Hello sir, a loyal subscriber here.. i observe here that you're using a les paul guitar, but would i still attain the same tones with a Stratocaster with the same amp settings as shown here? Regards

    • @MarkoCoconut
      @MarkoCoconut  Год назад +3

      Thank you. Yes and No. A Les Paul uses 2 humbucker pickups, which have an entirely different tone than a Startocaster. While the amp settings may be the same for both guitars, the tone will never be the same. So a blues tone for a Les Paul will be different than a blues tone for a Stratocaster. After time, it just becomes a matter of personal preference.

      Just what is built into the amplifier. So a clean channel, a gain channel and reverb.

    The amp I'm buying, doesn't have Middle. Is that a big issue if I wanna play rock?

    • @MarkoCoconut
      @MarkoCoconut  Год назад +1

      Not really. You can blend the tone with less controls.

    My fender amp doesnt have mids, can u explain in a simple term what mids does?

    • @dominikwisniewski1818
      @dominikwisniewski1818 9 месяцев назад +1

      I'm gonna try to explain it as simply as possible
      Treble is the higher pitched end sounds that you hear, so the more you turn that up, the more the treble is emphasised. The higher the pitch that you play, ie, playing down the fretboard closer to the body, the more of treble is emphasised.
      Bass is the lower pitched end of the sounds, so the more you turn that up, the more of bass that is emphasised. The lower pitch sounds, like those from the low E and A strings, the bass is more emphasised.
      Middle are the sounds in between treble and bass, the more you turn up middle, the more emphasised it is. So anything in between the bass and treble is the middle.
      I hope this helps
