It’s been a while since she’s done that, but the 6 pans have been designated that way since the beginning. The blue one in the first Bridgerton palette was basically just Astral white with more blue pigment/glitter added. Mothership X, while gorgeous, didn’t have any of the baked Blitz Astral shades. Your Nocturnal Nirvana quad definitely has a different texture than my OG one did. You got an OG Ritualistic Rose, which is one of the reasons I think you might like that one better. If her next Mothership doesn’t return to having the 4 baked shades, it’ll cement it in my mind that there’s a supply chain issue
I have tons of palettes I just swatch and they make my heart happy ❤ so I don't think it's silly at all if it brings you joy! I love your videos, and your swatches and explanations of why you love them!
I'm sorry, but I really do not understand such waste. If you want to swatch pretty shades, go to the stores and go for your life with every brand and colour laid out before you. Unless you're one of the rather wealthy who can afford to purchase rather expensive palettes simply to swatch the 'pretty shades', I think this is a terrible waste. People are starving and homeless, with others living through what seems never ending wars. There are very real issues going on in the world today that's far more important than sticking fingers into eye-shadows instead of wearing them. I have no objection with you buying all the palettes you like to enjoy wearing whist appreciating the shades and packaging. Yet to purchase an item, not for its intended use, but simply to swatch pretty colours is not only selfish but rather immature as well. Why not buy endless expensive high-end fashion to display but never wear? Where does this silliness stop? Each day I see evidence of societies around the globe becoming even more self absorbed and selfish. No-one even cares enough to check on the welfare of a neighbour anymore. The decline in values that were held above all else are nothing but a far distant memory now. It's by spouting such ludicrous statements such as being so self-centered to only think of your own joy that is the decline of societies. By all means, purchase things that make you happy and bring you joy, yet not in such a flippant and wasteful manner where you're not using the product for its intended purpose. That, I cannot agree with. If you love colour, become an artist and then the possibilities of colour are endless! Maybe, become a make-up artist and use these lovely shades on another whilst bringing both of you great joy. Why not experience the joy of gifting some of your "tonnes of palettes" to those who cannot afford a single one? Imagine the joy that can bring you and that person if you let it. I don't mean to come down on you, but with the endless waste throughout the world, someone has to eventually state the facts and I'm afraid it's your turn today. I simply live in hope of making this a better world where we can share our joy and not keep it solely to ourselves when we know so many have never experienced your privilege nor mine. Please don't take this as a personal attack, as it's not. I'm just so frustrated at the decline in societal values today that I felt I needed to say something that may even inspire you to find a way to spread your joy. We can only live in hope. Take care.💖🕊
I love that Zendo was higher up your list than I anticipated. I LOVE Zendo. It does not get enough praise! I also love the Pastel mini! I really wish she’d redo Circo Loco in a midi. I’d snap it up! I am surprised you don’t love Nocturnal Nirvana more! I love it so much-even the gold. I don’t think it’s different from the original one because the pan size is large. Her newer made quads (like in the last year or so) in the black lacquered packaging have smaller (but deeper) pans now. I think your swatches look like how mine swatches, and I got it when it was released. I am getting so much use out of my all matte Pat 6 pan, too! Now I’m going to be greedy and ask her for an all matte palette in her 5 pan palette matte formula!
Zendo and mini pastel definitely took me by surprise for sure. I do love NN don't get me wrong, I think just compared to the other shades I have from her and from my indies it just isn't as unique and wowing as some of the other palettes in this ranking but I do love it still. And more all matte palettes! haha 💗💗

Your PML Noc Quad looks nearly the same on the eye. After wearing mine a few times and just now watching your swatch again, I do think it’s a different formula. It looks nearly identical tho but watching you swirl your pan? Mine doesn’t do that, it’s her original/harder formula (not hard pan) but it does have the dimension and is GORGEOUS on the eye (I’m happy they have their own base too!). OTN: I do think your formula is more user friendly and doesn’t require a learning curve (how everyone used to complain that her formula did)
I wanted 2023 to be a NO BUY YEAR, but Lauren Mae did a collaboration with Oden's eye, which I love both of them. I had to break it immediately & get myself the treasure palette wink wink 🐚 🧜♀️ ❤ I expect nothing less from Lauren ❤ I'm prepared to see it ranking high in everyone's "best of 2023 palettes" video at the end of the year 😅🎉

I too was very pleasantly surprised with the Sea Talk palette, and although I will get some creasing after about 5-6 hrs of wear, the color story is impeccable and the Smoky Pearl shade is one of my favorite all time shades out of my entire collection. Hi Martina! The circo loco palette looks intimidating that's true, I use it as a companion palette and surprisingly I use it a lot! And the ritualistic rose quad... I have almost all the quads from pat and I think it's my favourite, pure perfection

Moreover, I believe that a make-up must adapt to the context where it is worn. Well.... Denona Glam palette, Glamlite CHUCKY, J. Star Cremated, Melt Marie Jane.... These are my daily choices, yet I own hundreds of pallets 🙈🙈🙈Adept I don't know when I'll ever use it, except maybe for a pop of color on a dark and almost gothic structure😂

I’m glad you like the kaja bento boxes. I’ve heard great things about them on YT, but the reviews on Sephora are iffy. People complain about the glitter fallout they get on their face, so I never wanted to try them at full price. I got a few for $7.80 to try this past week during a great sale.

Only because you are more of a nuetral lover over color but your explanation of why makes total sense! I still haven't ordered Sea Talk or Flora. I'm trying to stick to my guns and hold back and waiting for the nxt PM, ND, Adept, and Glaminatrix releases! So much exciting makeup this year so I'm trying to be extremely choosy on what I decide to get! I am also surprised with your ranking of Nocturnal Nirvana. The older version of the green has a more noticeable purple flip and the Turquoise is a little different as well. The formula looks creamier in the new palette but I prefer the tones in the old version so there are pros and cons to each version. I knew you would LOVE Ritualistic Rose! That peachy gold shade is stunning and is a perfect companion to the all matte palette for gorgeous nuetral looks! ❤

Martina, I have to disagree with you calling the Kaja Set a palette. In my opinion, it's three stackable singles. Anyway, you have surprised me with the rather colourful palettes you've been picking up lately. I don't see you ever wearing them though and not sure why you would waste your money on palettes you won't use, yet maybe it was for your Channel. I've been delving into Givenchy's Eye Palettes this year with only one to go. These shades are spectacular and just as special as those 'so-called special shades' from PML. The colour stories are more suited to you and the formula is faultless. I've never been serious about them before I bought the L/E Christmas 2021 Palette that only came to Sephora a year and a half after first released! We've yet to witness the 2022 Christmas Palette on our shores. I do hope that you managed to grab the Byredo Kalahari Palette from Mecca or at least put your name down to be notified. So far, out of my extremely vast collection of shadows, they are most probably number one in quality. PML doesn't come close! As a side note to everyone who raves on about Vegan/Cruelty Free Brands, let's first understand that it is China who is responsible for keeping animal testing going. By supporting brands like Adept, Oden's Eye, Sugar Drizzle, Nomad, plus endless more brands who tout themselves as being 'cruelty-free', they all have their eye make-up made in China! If we stop supporting the Chinese Beauty Industry, whilst demanding that these brands cease production in China, only then will animal testing cease. Many 'cruelty-free' Channels review make-up made in China/PRC (People's Republic of China) whilst hypocritically claiming they're against animal testing. This topic was bought up on another Channel the other day when Nomad released its new palette and someone stated that in this day and age, animal testing shouldn't be required. I agree 100%! Yet, I'm not the hypocrite that continues to support the Chinese Beauty Industry as I'm aware of the facts. I'd love to see someone who is brave enough to take on this topic - hint, hint. As you're no hypocrite and do buy from all types of brands, it puts you in the perfect position to take on this subject matter. What I wouldn't give to witness someone brave enough to state the facts, yet in an educational manner. Let the viewers know exactly where these 'cruelty-free' brands are made and what they can do about stopping these brands continuing to use slave labour in China and supporting their Beauty Industry at the same time in their home countries. You'd be surprised at how many cruelty-free brands are US Companies, yet use slave labour to have these made in China. I'm quite an expert when it comes to international affairs and one thing that ticks me off the most is hypocrisy! Martina, I have to disagree with you calling the Kaja Set a palette. In my opinion, it's three stackable singles. Anyway, you have surprised me with the rather colourful palettes you've been picking up lately. I don't see you ever wearing them though and not sure why you would waste your money on palettes you won't use, yet maybe it was for your Channel. I've been delving into Givenchy's Eye Palettes this year with only one to go. These shades are spectacular and just as special as those 'so-called special shades' from PML. The colour stories are more suited to you and the formula is faultless. I've never been serious about them before I bought the L/E Christmas 2021 Palette that only came to Sephora a year and a half after first released! We've yet to witness the 2022 Christmas Palette on our shores. I do hope that you managed to grab the Byredo Kalahari Palette from Mecca or at least put your name down to be notified. So far, out of my extremely vast collection of shadows, they are most probably number one in quality. PML doesn't come close! As a side note to everyone who raves on about Vegan/Cruelty Free Brands, let's first understand that it is China who is responsible for keeping animal testing going. By supporting brands like Adept, Oden's Eye, Sugar Drizzle, Nomad, plus endless more brands who tout themselves as being 'cruelty-free', they all have their eye make-up made in China! If we stop supporting the Chinese Beauty Industry, whilst demanding that these brands cease production in China, only then will animal testing cease. Many 'cruelty-free' Channels review make-up made in China/PRC (People's Republic of China) whilst hypocritically claiming they're against animal testing. This topic was bought up on another Channel the other day when Nomad released its new palette and someone stated that in this day and age, animal testing shouldn't be required. I agree 100%! Yet, I'm not the hypocrite that continues to support the Chinese Beauty Industry as I'm aware of the facts. I'd love to see someone who is brave enough to take on this topic - hint, hint. As you're no hypocrite and do buy from all types of brands, it puts you in the perfect position to take on this subject matter. What I wouldn't give to witness someone brave enough to state the facts, yet in an educational manner. Let the viewers know exactly where these 'cruelty-free' brands are made and what they can do about stopping these brands continuing to use slave labour in China and supporting their Beauty Industry at the same time in their home countries. You'd be surprised at how many cruelty-free brands are US Companies, yet use slave labour to have these made in China. I'm quite an expert when it comes to international affairs and one thing that ticks me off the most is hypocrisy!
