    For those wondering, im pretty sure the DD was on the route - not the loco 😢

      Hm, what do you mean by "DD"?? I'm sure it doesn't have anything to do with German numberplates...

    It’s Reppo, honestly their content isn’t as great but it’s better than most. their content is good to the point where it’s at least tolerable and respectable, I like it. 🙂 Hopefully there’s a mini ep or sometime soon

    I noticed that in this locomotive there are a lot of recycled sounds: the joint sounds are the same for every reppo engine; the braking squeal and the starting sequence are the same as the ones from the SD70ACU from TBT.

    Horn does sound just like a Santa Fe K3la-R2

    Those worn edges look like the hallmarks of Substance Painter.

    Correct me but I do believe the GP60s are the most powerful 4 axle locomotives offered by EMD in North America.

    • @CentralJerseyRailfan
      @CentralJerseyRailfan Месяц назад +3

      Emphasis on "offered by EMD". The PL42AC and MP40PH-3C are more powerful but are offered by Alstom and MPI respectively.

    Your right the GP60M's we run now that have that new paint scheme have completely different control setups we don't even have the desk anymore they are control stands similar to a sd40. With two displays sitting on top. And maybe we have a unicorn but ours is nothing like that.

    I hope we get something like this in the santa fe retro pack by hi iron for train sim world. Its been months since its been announced but not a single update or anything so i dont have high hopes for it

    Horn sounds about right for a GP60M, maybe a bit too quiet. They were pretty loud. Bell is awful. And the damn flashing ditch lights ruin it. ATSF never had flashers and the only units on the BNSF roster to have them were the EX BN 9400-9499 SD70Mac.

  • @CentralJerseyRailfan
    @CentralJerseyRailfan Месяц назад +1

    I'm not surprised there a couple things that are off. Horn model is a K5LAR24 which is not right for this model; a K3HAR2 which is what the real 60Ms had is more appropriate for the prototype. There was an effort to improve the engine sounds from the old RSC sounds from 2011 but they're still not good compared to the Searchlight/MLWAudio 16-710G3B EP. Hoping someone gets to applying the enhancement pack to them which also includes the "underwater" narrow font K3HA ATSF/BNSF EMD widecabs are known for having.

    I don’t know all the specifics but we have a couple gp60’s running around the fort worth complex, and i got one for the first time a little while ago, but it had sidestand, not desktop. So i wonder what the differences are if anyone knows

    The scripting for the ditch lights needs to be redone. The GP60M's never had flashing ditch lights.

    Reppo usually makes a better product than the rest, but the sounds are mid as per usual with every train sim product. What is your RWE preset? It looks really good

    I’ve rode in the 128 and 155 IRL they suck lol and the conductors side desk is slanted upwards which is weird on the real thing

  • @colbylawson5331
    @colbylawson5331 Месяц назад

    Also, flashing ditchlights were rare when it comes to ATSF. GP60Ms in ATSF's roster didn't even have any flashing ditchlights.
    Honestly Sean, this isn't like Reppo. I sense that this dlc was rushed by DogTail Garbage (aka DTG) because it's usually not like Reppo to include some advanced juicy stuff. I mean, compare this to his previous dlc, which had advanced features and had more class in them. This dlc was most likely the result of Reppo being rushed by DTG so DTG could make a quick buck, like how they did TSW 5.
    Also, as far as I know about the PCS reset, I believe you have to keep the train brake in emergency, zero the throttle, have the reverser in neutral, wait a minute or two and then release the train brake all the way.

    A loco é linda, mas o som pelo amor, os caras não capricham mesmo, a anos só utilizam este som para motores EMD 710.
