She is definitely possessed by the spirit of demon .

@@sundelong2727 i feel like Christianity is a very simplified religion. There is god and then there are angels and demons, the angels are good and demons are evil. If i go according to my religion there are a lot of other entities such as demigods and local gods and spirits. The demigods too are heavenly beings residing in heaven. Whereas the local gods and spirits are assigned in our earthly land, some of which are good and helpful towards humans and others rather mischievous. So you cannot say that the things that posses them are demons. And about her feeling ecstatic, when you have a being of higher realm posses you no matter if they are gods, angels, demons or any other entity, it's normal to feel that way

I've seen a demonstration of the knife - dance back in 1982, when my town hosted a World's Fair. Doesn't seem much different than walking on glass or hot coals like they still do in India. The nervous system can do all kinds of unusual things - like cranking someone's adrenaline up to where they can lift a car off of a trapped person when they themselves weigh only 120 - 130 pounds, maximum.

The narrator is confused. Mudang/Manshin are the people who under go shin-naerim gut. Lay people do not undergo this rite and hereditary shamans don't either. The chaktu are extremely sharp knives and if someone isn't possessed or otherwise, it will hurt them.

About the sharpness of the blades, mudangs say they need to be sharp. Then they don't get injured. If the blades are dull, they do get injured because that means they did not have full faith in the spirits that possess them. The spirits would get angry and get back at them.

It’s not that people are superstitious but it’s ritual involved with spiritual dimension . There is spirit of dead inside of her to dance on the knife cause her spirit sustained her .
( she is not in the flesh but in the spirit )
When person is entering the spiritual realm , it doesn’t affect her physical body .

The Big bang theory has nothing to do with evolution. I amazes me how many people still confuse the two. The big bang theory does not prove that God does not exist, nor does evolution. Open your minds to the fact that God is more than your feeble minds can wrap around. The Big bag theory, evolution are nothing more than beautiful amazing pieces of total creation.

Not very bright are we? Clue [you articulate it in your question - "it's shamanism, not christianity"
...and the over-arching principle is.....? That's right - "spiritualism" now does it make sense?
Another point which is very clear to bare in mind is: We are, to me, of energy. In english, at core, we are spirits.
Now does it make a little more sense? Got a tight schedule. Albeit i'd like to trade barbs with you, better things to do - you see. Be well.

You are toxic and ignorant. Christianity and its Trinitarianism is very similar to the Highest Sky Trinity in Korean Shamanism. You talk all think nonsense without even having a clue about the Father-Son-Spirit dynamic.
The biggest persecutors of Korean Shamanism were the Confucians, who severely persecuted it for 500 years.

In short, the vision one receives while entranced will always be based on the culture one is living in... perhaps in christianity talking to jesus christ, or in Buddhism speaking to the Buddha

Utmost respect for their religion. One thing. Where does JESUS fit in all this?
They had me at the knife lick. Someone suggest such an activity, i'm making for the hills like yesterday. Can sustain significant pain {first thing one is taught in Jiu-Jitsue is how to fall} but c'mon now. Lick a blade? A little sceptical about standing on one. That one not quite as dangerous.
Possessed alright - as in; 'have you lost your ever loving mind?'

the spirits are called Jinn- from the invisible world ('Alam alghayib), and we are not to interact with them whatsoever - they are mentioned in the Qur'an- the Most High says:
"I have not created jinn and mankind except to worship Me (i.e. the Only True God)." Chapter 51 Verse 56
They have their own world, and have different characters and statuses just like us human beings, some are religious, some are not, some are evil, some are not:
"And some of us are the righteous, and some of us are otherwise; we are sects differing."
    Chapter 72 Verse 11
In every culture, they claim to be something that befits the understanding of that culture. For example, for people who believe in reincarnation as an incarnation of a deceased soul; for people who believe in ghosts as a ghost of a girl who used to live in this house; for a person who believes he can see angels as angels and so forth.
    In another Verse:
"And there were men from mankind who sought refuge in men from the jinn, so they [only] increased them in burden. " Chapter 72 Verse 6
And all shamans and all witches, clairvoyants, fortune tellers, ouigi board players over the world are just an example of what is meant in this verse.
