Heavily agree with the comfort, the sticks and buttons are a joy to use. I do have that wobble on my unit, which now I guess is why I notice my phone slipping out slightly on the other end while I'm playing. But I have to note that even though it slips out slightly, the phone doesn't slide out entirely and stays in place, so not that bad of a concern for me. Also I'm unable to connect via Bluetooth to my PC. USB C works though. Moonlight works perfectly as well.
Bought a G8, but man, those two micro swiches RIGHT under the d-pad made me hate the entire controller. I tried to play a fighting game, but every shoryouken I tried to execute, I accidentally hit the F#%%& snapshot button that took a forced and infuriating snap. Why, WHY a F#$%@ snapshot button in a controller? EDIT: Ended up applying a drop of super cola and glued those stupid buttons forever! No more stupid snaps, no more stupid unwanted activations! NOW, and just now, I find the G8 the best mobile controller ever.
I have a larger phone (oneplus 12r) and have basically zero wobble. No more or less than I have on the Gamesir G8. I like that the USB is long enough to connect with my case on, though, I find that even with the case off, it's stable. I actually received this and the G8 yesterday, but I haven't had a chance yet to form an opinion and decide which one I'll keep.
I got the easysmx m15 for $27 total shipping included, so if you can get it for the price I did in sure a lot of people would go with it over the gamesir g8. Even though I wanted the g8 I will admit the quality is damn near the same of course g8 has slightly better quality but no reason for it to be 50 dollars more honestly..... I'll keep my easysmx m15 and save my 50 bucks any day lmao 😂🤣
Hey man! Great review! I like how you give in details about what you like about the controller and vise versa. I am still quite perplexed on whether i should go for a Bluetooth or a type c controller... Care to give a few thoughts? Appreciate it!
I'm just so afraid of USB C controllers. I had a LG V20 and the dual display case, and man did that case destroy the USB C on the V20 to the point no charger would work with it.
I don't like the ergonomics of the Easysmx M15, I feel the grips should have followed the design of the dualsense. I don't have big hands, but it gets my hands numbed after a short gaming session. Apart from that one specific issue, it's an amazing controller for that low price. Also, mine is not wobbly at all with my S22 Ultra.
Never tried the G8 so I don't know how it would compare. Id probably just go with the G8 or this depending on whichever was on sale. Check coin discounts on AliExpress as both are about half off right now if you have the coins. I do think the M15 is a decent controller either way.

I pre order G8 Galileo first few days came out got for $45 or $50 for forgot the price plus shipping great deal for it. I was also on there RUclips page saw they are handing out coupons for it I email the people who made G8 Devices they wrote me back the same day send me coupon code got for around $45-50. wait over $100 for it man must be very poplar controller. what's good about G8 fits with a lot of cases.
Interesting to hear you got such a great price on it. I've been debating grabbing one for awhile but knowing me I'll probably end up waiting till the next one releases before grabbing it. Do you notice any wiggle near the USB c port on the G8?
@@KeiRetroGamingHi, it' 55€ on Banggood, I just got one BUT you can get G8+ for same price on Temu. They are in CES 2024, maybe they have something new in store for us? Anyway, all of above are from official Gamesir stores on them sites
@@KeiRetroGaming I don't think it wiggles so pretty solid device. If I don't have case on with iPhone 15 pro max it works great with the device that's what phone I have.
Man these controllers have come a long way from the ipega crap that used to be around (probably still are). Great review. Thanks 🙂
You could put something (anything flat that fits) in the empty space in order to solve the wobble issue

Just snagged the Memo S3 for 30usd include shipping. I wonder if the software side the same as the M15?
M15 was around 38$ on Aliexpress and G8 Galileo is 60 on Banggood, I ordered G8

@@IsolatedGeminihow is the controller doing your m15
@@IsolatedGemini switch joycon replacement compatibility is a killer feature for any switch owner for the g8 plus
If it could be moded like the G8 to fit 11" tablets I'd consider it
Unfortunately I don't see how you could mod it to open it up further. Definitely would have to look at a more tablet centered controller.

Thanks, glad you like the review! I would always go for a type c controller to avoid any latency unless you absolutely need it wireless.

g8 plus if you have a switch (replaces joycons) and / or want to use for a tablet. both of which m15 can't do
