I love how they make everything a joke! They're being interviewed for a movie that's sure to be a hit, they finally have a chance to explain their creative mental process to the world, and they turn it into another chance to do comedy. These guys are flat out brilliant!
Believe it or not, this is the best interview. Some of the questions they actually answer. For example the impression one, the deleted scene one, the story about Will Ferell... Watch a couple other interviews and you will agree this one is the best.
Jeremy Bader yea hilarious. Everyone needs to stfu enjoy the video it would have been worse if the interview tried to become the third member of the duo u fckin quizno bitchass btches
closest thing i could find is a Marc Maron interview on his podcast wtf, it is only with heidecker, and not specifically about the movie, but still pretty good.
I think the interviewer does recognize that he is being messed with, I mean you would have to be pretty dense to actually believe a lot of the things they are saying, he is just going along with it.
Yeah as an avid T&E fan it’s been known that Tim is the genius behind it all. That’s not to say Eric isn’t hilarious- he is. Or to say that Eric isn’t responsible for anything- he certainly is. But Tim is definitely the more creative one. On this particular clip you could see Eric totally improvised the 17% answer and Tim was not expecting it... but he was highly amused (look at his face) and went right along with it by adding the absurd bit about the survey population size and the dip stick.
@@thugger-vandross When giving these interviews, having somebody like Eric who can keep a straight face and tone is priceless. Though you're right, Tim is just a one of a kind actual genius
I think saying that someone has an intellectual disability or is mentally challenged sounds just as bad if not worse than saying they are retarded. it still means the exact same thing and shows that you know in your heart that the person has something wrong with them but don't want to make them feel bad. the problem is it still hurts exactly the same and might feel worse to have someone saying "oh you don't want to hurt their feelings because they are mentally challenged and can't understand that you are joking." people started saying retarded because mongoloid became offensive and once the meaning of intellectual disability is understood people will decide that it is also offensive. all this really shows is that you are beating around the book and are unwilling to have a difficult conversation so just create Band-Aids instead.
the thing is when people say retarded they are rarely talking about someone with an actual intellectual disability. the word idiot means the exact same thing as retarded and actually has a worse history but no one seems to care about it because they understand that it's never used to describe actual mental disabilities but is just used as a way to characterize someone who makes bad decsions or is slow.
I sincerely believe that Tim & Eric despise seeing their interviewer comfortable. I would be disappointed if they actually took one of these seriously.
what the actual fuck?!? today a teacher walked up to me and said that I remind her of Eric Wareheim, so i look him up and find this, im no longer sure whether i should be insulted or happy.
"so when 17% popped up on the, computer model... I freaked!"
3:59 "Aaahhaaaaa".. that's when I lost it. Tim is fantastic.
Tim's Goldlbum is pretty great.
Stop stating the obvious. You're just trying to get Tim to be your friend with obsequious admiration.
That was a spot-on Goldblum. Impressive!
Man I love how spontaneous their BS sessions can be, they've practically turned it into an art form
I love how they make everything a joke! They're being interviewed for a movie that's sure to be a hit, they finally have a chance to explain their creative mental process to the world, and they turn it into another chance to do comedy. These guys are flat out brilliant!
here we go!... best interviews ever ,hilarious! 17%
Congratulations, you've got pools of blood in your stomach.
This is one of the greater interviews on this tour of Tim and Eric's you got to be kidding me responses
The Goldblum impression is spot on! I love these guys....lol.
"Can you IMAGINE me calling Tim Heidecker?"
just don't call him uncle
"If you take it in the context of the body of our work you'll see that there's a reverence and respect for diarrhea" - Tim Heidecker
There was actually some good questions in the interview, but the interviewer was scared af thru the whole thing (I would be too tbh)
These guys are amazing
Believe it or not, this is the best interview. Some of the questions they actually answer. For example the impression one, the deleted scene one, the story about Will Ferell... Watch a couple other interviews and you will agree this one is the best.
I have no clue what questions i would ask these guys if i had to interview them
Still waiting on the Inspector Trendst Series from Tim Heidecker
Inspector trist series!??? If only...
I love how he says he won’t do the impression then in the middle of the next question he just starts doing the impression anyway.
Yo when he immediately said 17%, no thinking, I passed out from laughing
This guy is probably the best interviewer they've had haha
Awesome question, great job
Gosh these guys have the most virulent sarcasm. It's insane.
cant wait to get my hands on the new Inspector Trisst
Be provocative. Ok, I get that. Be organized. What?
I don't know why but I find it funny that they look so normal.
Leave it to them to make normality blazingly absurd
Interviewer got owned
After many years of being t&e fans, I can confidently say that Tim is more talented.
That's a great Will Ferrell impression
That's probably the greatest Goldblum impression of all time.
That start-up is great! Tim are Eric are awesome...lol. This guy played right along beautifully...considering most interviewers don't get it.
It was a nice Goldblum impression.
That music at the end is tre bien. Artist and title?
this is awesome
Bonus of the sensibility dip test - you can also test for pools of blood in your stomach.
Tim has been focusing on comedy. You should see how good Eric is directing. He's done a lot of music videos in the mean time.
BEST INTERVIEW
In high school from 91 to 93 when I was doing a bunch of shrooms and LSD on fridays these guys would have been awesome to trip out on.
Yeah.
But you got acid house and Arnold Schwarzenegger and sitcoms and the Simpsons and
there's a ghost int he back room! 5:41!! ahhhhh
haha that's SO Jeff Goldblum
yeah, all those damn noises almost popped my sub.
tim and eric are so cute... ugh
I agree (although I beliebe they themselves have said that being stoned while watching might improve the viewing experience).
Actually a really good Goldblum impression.
You got a nice set of pearls there.
so when the 17% popped up in the computer model I FREAKED lolololpololllol!
I find myself coming back here for the goldblum impression
"a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-a-ar-ar-ar-a-ara rooock?"
They have such strong improv skills goddamn
such a great goldblum
lol great interview.
I took the simple dip test and my string came out purple, what the fuck does that mean?! please help!!
Jeremy Bader yea hilarious. Everyone needs to stfu enjoy the video it would have been worse if the interview tried to become the third member of the duo u fckin quizno bitchass btches
The age old question: Logs vs Diahrea
Tim and Eric don't turn off their humor.
It's Tim and Eric.
They're true comedians.
Would be pretty epic if Matt started taking notes with pictures.
His Jeff Goldblum impression almost made me pee my pants.
the guy walking out at 4.29 couldnt hold it anymore
ya blew it.
closest thing i could find is a Marc Maron interview on his podcast wtf, it is only with heidecker, and not specifically about the movie, but still pretty good.
How'd you get Chef Goldblum??!!?
If you eat soft meats all l day
goldblum impression... now THAT'S focused
Matt Pais, the voice of his generation.
5:48 😂😂
I think the interviewer does recognize that he is being messed with, I mean you would have to be pretty dense to actually believe a lot of the things they are saying, he is just going along with it.
dip test haha
I love the fact that fart and burp jokes get Eric every time.
ur checking us out on called set right call set right RED EYE
Tim really does do a good Jeff Goldblum
I think they were bleeping out Tim saying "retarded" but instead of a beep they used some guy saying "euh" in a high pitched voice.
What was that noise when TIm said "retarded" at 7:02?
rangoed
WHAT IS THE SOUND AT 7:05 HAHA
tim heidecker is the smartest person alive
ahaha....gets me every time.
5:34. I think this is the only moment caught on film where Eric is serious.
Eric, don't listen to Tim, you definitely should go and get that lobotomy
I've noticed! I think Eric doesn't come up with much of their stuff, though I think he's probably essential to the process of Tim being creative.
Yeah as an avid T&E fan it’s been known that Tim is the genius behind it all. That’s not to say Eric isn’t hilarious- he is.

And I just noticed your comment is 8 years old lol
@@thugger-vandross When giving these interviews, having somebody like Eric who can keep a straight face and tone is priceless.

5:42
oh god that man in the background must've been a ghost...
This interviewer guy looks like Carson Daly.
i thought this had something to do with poppedcorn.com
17% of the population...we actually tested that..
Oh, he's doing a Jeff Goldblum impression...
How do Tim and Eric get any work done?😂
ever heard of playing along?
A reverence and respect for diarrhea.

everyone knows this show is better when you smoke some marijuano
congratulations you've got pools of blood in your stomach
Tim looks so blown out..lol....
dude what?? he was laughing throughout the whole thing! this is like the only T&E interview I've seen where the interviewer GETS it
No, actually it kind of irritates them that people think it's a stoner show, when really it's just a straight up comedy poking fun at the mainstream.
He’s one of the funniest men on the planet, the other one being Tim
popcorn's hot! join the movies!
pause at 00:32 tims eyes lol
That guy had to leave to the room because i'm sure he was on the verge of busting his gut!
no wonder they were so crazy in the /watch?v=d6OwEUIXhi4 interview after this.
i bet this interview was done for small prices.
the guy who says that looks real agitated..
is that guy in the next room a maid? Looks like housekeeping to me
