I think in some previous videos and perhaps in parliament, too, Pierre acknowledges that inflation is much higher than the 7-8% that is stated by the Bank of Canada. As a Retired Analyst (Operations, Financial) with a Financial, Computers and Energy background, I find this not only amusing, but "in Trudeaus face". Even in Retirement I still follow Economics, Politics, Stock Markets and the Real Estate Trends and Statistics, and have done my own Algorithms and Calculations. I personally feel our Inflation is actually 15.9-16.1% - not the 7.6% presented. Hey - what do I know, just my opinion. Pierre - very well presented... you have my vote.
I think in some previous videos and perhaps in parliament, too, Pierre acknowledges that inflation is much higher than the 7-8% that is stated by the Bank of Canada. I recall him saying that that percentage didn’t account for other factors (I’m no economist, don’t know all the lingo), but yeah… Pierre knows it much higher than what’s normally stated.

Perhaps you should review the results from the 2021 election and note the popular vote went to the CPC. So, based on your comment, the CPC is the majority vote holder and should be the governing party. Alas it is not, due to the disparity in ridings. Maybe you don’t know that a vote in PEI is worth 4 times the vote in AB. Or that the largest riding in the country has the same population as all 4 ridings in PEI. We do not live in a democracy, sorry to break it to you, and one vote in one area is not equal to one vote in another. Sadly, Canada is full of low information voters.

If you are having trouble understanding the Parliamentary system of Government we have in this country and the Charter of Right and Freedoms there is plenty of information in your Grade 5 Social Studies text book. Until such time that people value their vote and actually get out and cast their ballot, then the disparities in our system is of apparent disinterest to a vast number of Canadians. Don't vote, don't whine after the fact.
