David Akin's display is an embarrassment to journalism and a waste of viewers valuable time.
But it's rather interesting, in a sense, as it serves as a clear indicator of journalism's sad and accelerating decline. It's clear from the reporter's aggressive tone of voice and body language that he was attempting to elicit a similarly aggressive response from Mr. Poilievre that would mirror his own.

Pierre should have stopped forging ahead, STFU, and said, "Yes, Sir, I will be taking questions at the end of my speech." This, he eventually did, but that's why the reporter kept interrupting. The reporter wasn't being a troll _per se_ he just wanted a quick answer. The fact is that they were both being rude.
If I was Pierre, I would have clearly stated that I would later be taking questions before even commencing my speech.
