Love it when you guys do a video actually fishing. I understand the need to pitch products. Just good to see you back to your roots 👊🤨 Most “big channels” don’t even fish anymore to prove the products actually work.
Good job. The weather has been unusual the last couple of weeks on the "Chick" for sure. A lot of cloudy days and below normal temps. The topwater bite was good until the end of December last year!
Absolutely! Spotted bass are notorious for hitting baits with their mouths closed to kill or stun the bait. Makes for some frustrating blow ups some times.
I really wish this worked right now on Lake Jordan in AL haha it’s a real struggle right now, weather is crazy and the bass are about shut off right now.
That is one of the most beautiful lakes in this area, I can’t believe you didn’t get one of those big musky with that lure! We caught one on a jerk bait a couple years ago!
I've noticed fishing the Coosa river for 30 years that the bigger spots alot of the time on top water they hit it trying to kill or stun bait and then eat it after its a foot or so under the surface.
Tim do you think that y'all could do a buyer's guide on portable fish finders for bank fishing? Or suggest one that's the best bang for a buck on a budget 😜?
The crazy weather here hasn’t been forgiving for fishing at all. Can’t seem to find the fish anywhere or to bite on anything. It’s just been too cold for some reason but it’s starting to warm back up
Hi Tim…had a question about your trolling motor set up. Are you using both mega 360 and mega live on a target lock setup?? Can you do a video about the likes or dislikes on the target lock. Are they compatible with other trolling motors?? I can’t afford a new ultrex but am interested in mega live and target lock. What are your thoughts??
Mate, really enjoyed watching this video. Was certainly a busy few hours on the water. Just a thought, have you considered using Assist hooks on the lure's back split ring ? May help when the fish are a bit skittish and not fully committing to the lure. Yeah, some nice fish. Stay dry. Cheers 😀👍
Hey for big swimbaits let's just say you're on a lake with trout right.. you would throw a trout style swimbait. But if u were on a lake with bluegill/crappie/shad you would throw a some sort of pan fish imitation right? But what if your lake has everything, from trout to gills/crappie to shad. What kind of big swimbait would you throw? This has been something I could not decide on. So I stayed away from big swimbaits, but I've always wanted to throw them. Could u please help? Thank you!
I've been watching you guys for years and just feel like you're flawless and can do no wrong. Watching you miss fish just reminds me that you're human and not unfallible idols. Lol. Love your content all your tricks have truly improved my angling so that I can make my son a better fisherman as well. Thanks for all you do
Good Eye! Yes I was twitching it or walking it some of the time. Check out this video. Near the end we show how we like to fish the Tactical Wake. - ruclips.net/video/8-GcczYSr38/видео.html
I’m in the market for my first big swimbait rod to use with the new tactical wake bait. Would the st croix 7’10 extra heavy bass X or victory be a good option for the tactical wake bait?
This is Matt so I can't speak definitively but he would have either tied a Palomar or a San Diego Jam. If there were a bunch of twists that was definitely the San Diego Jam.
Two things: Men's legs and feet aren't that pretty, put on some pants and boat shoes; For those missed strikes, take off the treble hooks and put on circle hooks, works every time.
It’s so nice to watch someone fish who isn’t glued to the graph.
No livescope I could actually watch this video and enjoy a real fishing video.👍😎❤️🎣
Glad you enjoyed it

I dont think they pitch products at all. They're completely unbiased when it comes to tackle
Thanks! We produce at least one "Fishing Video" every week on our channel and we've done so for many years.
@@tacticalbassin oh I know it! Those get my most retention time 🤨👍
That's a sweet cast at 4:23 right under that lay down with a big bait. 👍👏
Guys! Busted a 6, 5 and a 4 on Sunday during all that crazy weather on lake chickamauga! Megabass Big M7.5 and Tactical Wakebait were on Fire!!
Thats awesome!!! Way to go! 🙌
Good job. The weather has been unusual the last couple of weeks on the "Chick" for sure. A lot of cloudy days and below normal temps. The topwater bite was good until the end of December last year!
That rain turned tactical
Beautiful lake . Don’t see to many without homes anymore .
Pretty cool you showing the tactical wake wont always work. That shows that you stand by it under the right conditions

Gotta love that Shower Blow!!!! I've had a forty bass day in three hours using that one. Thanks Tim
That sounds like a great day!

You guys aren't too far away from the rivers that have Shoal Bass. New recommendation for a video!

You got that right! I did have two followers.
Chilhowee?
Have y’all ever been to Lanier in Georgia amazing spotted bass and striper fishery
Caught them on a big wake yesterday in the rain & wind.
I live on hartwell so I fish for a ton of spots and what I have to do if they missing it is go faster it don’t sound right but it works
Awsome content!!! Me likey the TOPWATER!!!
Thank you!
Would love another uncut!

Absolutely! It can been heartbreaking sometimes!

Also curious
We will be doing some videos on this in the near future.

I had no idea that the Chick had Musky in it!
Tim and Matt ... What would be the rod you would pick if the 966 was no longer available ?
Check the 806 (Treble Hook Baits) or the 807 (Jig Hook Baits)
bit.ly/2aivwYX
How did you notice the sound went out? Did it fix itself somehow or did you check and notice?
When I got home in front of the computer to watch the footage.
@@tacticalbassin ok gotcha. I thought you actually said it while you were fishing and it threw me off.

9:43 Can anyone help me out with what knot he tied on here??
The drag click….. why? how? I want that!
What knot did you tie at 9:30 on the 105 Shower?
It might have been a San Diego Jam knot
I have trouble with fish identification. Were ant largemouth on camera or only spots?
I hate to say it but it makes me feel better when you miss fish as well
You're welcome.... I guess LOL

Anyone know if he was twitchin' the wakebait, instead of the traditional slow crank...sure looked like it

Wow, that walks real nice...these ohio bass better be on the lookout for the copper carp tactical wake! 👍 ohio state record Largie is just waitin'
I’m in the market for my first big swimbait rod to use with the new tactical wake bait. Would the st croix 7’10 extra heavy bass X or victory be a good option for the tactical wake bait?
What size shower blow size do you recommend for smallies?
I really like the smaller 105 size.
Thanks, I usually just throw the heddon Zara spook and now the boyo but want to try some others👍🏼
Yeah 3ft muskie is definitely "small" 6:14
Smaller lol
Would that chrome top water work here on the Delta?
Yes!
What's that knot you are using on the shower blows?
This is Matt so I can't speak definitively but he would have either tied a Palomar or a San Diego Jam. If there were a bunch of twists that was definitely the San Diego Jam.
@@tacticalbassin Thank you sir
@@tacticalbassin Is that best for mono, fluorocarbon, or both?
Works great for both - Tim
@@tacticalbassin Thx!
You see, all you had to do was take the flip flops off and boom 💥 catch a bass
LOL!
Another great video!!! I bought 3 of the Tactical Wake baits. What split rings do you recommend for me to add to them?
AWESOME! You're going to have a lot of fun with the Tactical Wake! We use Owner Hyper Wire #6 or #7s
Thanks guys!!!
Is it my crappy phone or is the video quality a little blurry? 😵💫
I can’t catch shit man come to New York and show me how it’s done guys please
Where can I grab a pair of those tactical shorts you’ve got on? I just ordered my khaki digi camo reaper hoodie. Can’t wait till it gets here!
Shorts are good for fishing but not so much for fishing video, advice from a photographer: the less skin the better.
The weather is not crazy. I came to see how you fish topwater in CRAZY weather, but what I see is calm water with no or only a little bit waves.
Shhhhh, fishing sucks in crappy weather…. Stay home! 😉
First
No one cares
The DESCRIPTION is a little Crooked
Wakebait
Top water
Until Senko
Those are what we were using all day 👍🏼 The senko just didn't do any catching on camera.

@@tacticalbassin I like it when you cast handles up if I could just move that dammed crank to the left side..............
@@tacticalbassin And get rid of those flippers and get some boat shoes so you aren't walking around on my rods........
