- I thought Elon Musk needed some help with redesigning his truck.
This is my take on the Tesla Cybertruck as a garbage truck. It was for a build-off between myself and Andrew over at @MapleLeafCustoms . Go check out his video after this one and tell us what you think!

That’s a considerable improvement on the base vehicle, tilting the cab a tad forward really made a difference. I could easily see this as a background vehicle in the Blade Runner movies.

The gap filling technique you came up with by melting the polystyrene is brilliant. I love the wheels, the roll up doors, and the downward angle that you gave to the cab. Also, I love the way the zip ties look. The final build is way cooler than the original Tesla truck. I could see myself picking up some post-apocalyptic garbage in that thing. Excellent work, Ben!!!

@@BPCustomCreations As a child I always felt a strong pull inside myself towards being a public sanitation worker in the post-apocalypse. This concerned my parents of course and there were lots of psychologist, psychiatrist, and tons of medication liberally distributed. Now look at me! Never have I been so close to making this childhood dream a reality. Now I see your video. It's a sign. Perhaps one day when I'm slinging a bag or two of post-apocalyptic garbage into my Tesla truck I'll look back on my childhood and chuckle... I'll think to myself, "Ha, who got the last laugh? T-Nu did. T-Nu got the last laugh." #DreamsDoComeTrue

Awesome custom build. The truck looks great. Due to the bodymodifications it is hard to recognize as a former tesla pickup truck. I think even in the future garbage trucks will have some slogans on like "Keep your city clean..."

You turned the "Cyber truck " into the world's most expensive electric 80's Chrysler mini-van....er...dumptruck. I can still hear my mom yelling at me to stay in my seat and stop teasing my brother or she'll stop the car (van...er...dumptruck) and give me a spanking. Cool mod.

to me this truck looks like a rolling polygon taken out of an ooold computer game. XD
that's a lot of work you put into this thing, for hating it. :) especially on the rear part.
interesting use of a zip-tie. that's it, grab everything that could be of use later! :) when I worked at Behr's in germany for a few days I could snatch strips of printed aluminium foil. it's used to fill the gaps betwen the channels of intercoolers, and they have tiny louvers printed in, just the right size for 1:64 scale... now I'm dying to make use of them. :)

I haven't actually played it but there are a lot of cool cars. I think I'd have to do a larger scale to get more detail packed in!
