Loved the live snippet of Besame Mucho. The walk was great, too, love that time of day. This video was great for my upcoming trip since I'm going to be staying not far from this area.
I loved the street tour. The restaurants look great with different colored paint and design. Keep on dropping off those gems. Bye, and good luck with your home renovation project.
Amy, Tampa here. I checked out your AIRBNB, just beautiful. However, for my first trip to Merida, I need to stay on budget, and search out the city for a year away. But, I will keep watching your walking tours, they are informative and thank U !!
Totally understand. There are lots of great budget friendly places to stay. You could rent for a month in a neighborhood just outside of the historic center, then while you are here, look for a place for the year..
Amy! That was a very nice walking tour (yes I like walking tour videos), and you’re a good singer to boot. I just subscribed (you can thank Jose) and this video is the first one of yours that I watched. From your Jose videos you seem like an intelligent, caring, wonderful, and adventurous woman. I look forward to watching more of your videos here on your channel. Cheers, from chilly Canada.
@@DestinationRetirementyou’re very welcome. I only complement where I see it deserving. I love the work you have been doing to your rental accommodations by the way. It looks fantastic (you may have more than one. I’m going by the one featured in Jose’s videos). Your choices of interior designs are so good. I will venture into your website to have a look - I may just come visit Merida (you 🙂) this winter - I despise winters in Canada - they’re brutal (the weather generally sucks all year anyway). So hopefully I can get away. Have a wonderful day Amy.
RUclips just invited me to view this lovely video. Yes, you made it for me😅. That is a classy area! Is the chap on the bike selling something - tortillas, ice cream, puppies? A bar (I am 72 years old ‘girl’and last year I became a qualified mixologist), a steak restaurant and a dessert salon so close together? Yep, I want to go. Regards as ever!
Merida isn't expensive even at a 5 star restaurant your bill WON'T be anymore than like 50-100 US dollar's and to get that you have to order A LOT of stuff.... Beautiful video thank you 🥰
Yes love this content! I’m looking for your Airbnb link to book my stay but doesn’t seem to be a link. Your very inspiring. How did you get so fluent in Spanish?
I am actually going to return to do a walk down the street later in the evening when everyone is out and about. This is a great resource that has a great blurb on the 29 restaurants on 47, 54, and 56. A great read too! yucatanmagazine.com/calle-47/

Hi Jim, Fabulous. This resource will help too: yucatanmagazine.com/calle-47/
My compliments to you and your equipment! You really capture the sounds of Mexico as well as your video work. Way to take us there!
Aww. thank you. Even caught the honky honk bread guy ;)
Great walking video…..street and buildings so clean and new and lovely. Thx
Thank you Starr. Yes, so nice for walking.
I loved the street tour. The restaurants look great with different colored paint and design.

Thank you. I'll return during a more bustling hour to give a better picture.

I know what you mean. Me too.

You're welcome! :) Thank you for watching.
@@DestinationRetirement my pleasure!
Love the walking tours
Great. More coming!
Youre getting closer to the building I sent you pictures. I wish I had discovered Centro Mérida five years ago.
I took a little video there..coming soon.
Lovely walking tour!
Thank you. I'll re-do one of these days later in the evening.

Sanduga is great for mole and Homu has delicious asian cuisine too! So many good choices, if not the most affordable...
Would love to get walking tour of your favorite restaurants around Santiago market.
Love mole!! I"ll give Sandunga a try. I have heard good things.
Good idea!

Girl. Get on down here! there are so many great mixology places to explore.
Hola, Casa Amy,
Catrin is my favorite on calle 47!!!
I never did get there. Next time it will be a must.
You have a lovely singing voice 🥰
Thank you. :)
Sandunga has excellent food. La tlayuda estaba muy wrica.
I've heard rave reviews from several people now. It's moved to the top of my must eat excursions.

I can eat a lot of sushi for that price. :)

I lived in MX for 3 years in the early 90's. I had the youthful brain to quickly absorb language. :)
What a lovely lady :)
Hola Juan! Thank you!!! :)
This is a beautiful street. I look forward to visiting in January. I wanted to ask if you still had your Airbnb property or did you sell it?
I do have my air bnb. Adding the second one in about a week. In the description you'll see the link to book if you'd like to stay at my casa.
I wanted to try Mikaela but never got around to it. 😢
yet another great reason to come back.
FYI, "Pizzeria Oliva", the best pizza in Merida, yummy ;)
Defiantly on my next trip!
You are musically gifted. Perform your own background music!
Now I have two fans. you and my dad. haha
Im confused. Thought this was a restaurant tour. My error
