- So today was my last run before I quit running this auto parts freight. These loads iv'e been hauling for the past couple years are drying up for now and the customer is using a larger more cheaper carrier to replace me. To add insult to injury my semi truck falls apart going down the highway on my way to the delivery. This stuff happens in trucking and I guess it's just part of being a trucker. Hope you enjoy!

Why remove the piece of the strap instead of trying to secure it using duct tape or something? Out of curioisity
I didn’t really have anything to try and secure it otherwise i probably would have. I didn’t want the piece to fling up and puncture my tank

Yea K Dee I still can haul overnight but currently just running whatever I can that gets me back at night. I was OTR and gone 2-3 weeks at a time was kinda tough on the fam

K Dee I’ve always used DAT truckers edge load board. Is that what you use? Freight seems to be picking up a little but spot market is still trash
I've been both, 48 states + Canada and Mayheco. And there's nothing like eating at your own dinner table and sleeping in your own bed at night !
How about a 2” ratchet strap to secure the fuel tank from falling off ? If you were that worried about it you would have stopped and inspected the noise .
