It’s a popular theory that Metroman got into music because it was one of the few things that his powers couldn’t help him with. It made him feel normal. I think it’s an interesting theory.
Roxanne wasn’t judging Megamind on how he looked; her issue was that it took her awhile to see past the fact that he deceived her. WE know that MegaMind had truly fallen in love, but *she* _couldn’t_ be expected to know right away how much of the changes she had seen were real, and how much might have been just all part of the trick, to scam her. By the way- have you watched Zootopia? -For more on the same theme of judging a book by its cover, I highly recommend it!
There's a visual cue that most people miss because it's so subtle: ~ In the beginning, Roxanne is wearing a red dress - red being the 'opposite' color from blue (Megamind's color) because she absolutely dislikes him. ~ During the flight with Hal and dinner with 'Bernard', she's wearing purple - a mixture of red and blue. She likes 'him' while still disliking him. ~ Investigating Metro Man's lair and kidnapped by Hal, she's wearing white - completely neutral as she reevaluates everything she thought she knew. ~ At the unveiling of the rebuilt museum, she's wearing blue - she now supports Megamind and connects with him in ways she never connected with Metro Man. Another sneaky visual cue are the character's eyes: Megamind's eyes are green; Metro Man's and the Warden's eyes are blue; Minion's and Bernard's eyes are brown. If you pay attention, you can see: ~ When 'Megamind' chastises the prison guards, his eyes are blue because it's actually the Warden. ~ When the 'Warden' casually strolls out of prison, his eyes are green because it's actually Megamind. ~ When 'Bernard' dates Roxanne, his eyes are green because it's actually Megamind. ~ When the 'Warden' releases Megamind from prison, his eyes are brown because it's actually Minion. ~ When 'Metro Man' battles Tighten, his eyes are green because it's actually Megamind. (The one goof in this regard is when 'Megamind' confronts Tighten - his eyes are green throughout even though it's actually Minion in disguise. I suspect that this may have been a deliberate exception so as to not give away the deception.) Also, the school segment - particularly when he dehydrates and rehydrates Minion - sets up the Chekoviest Chekov's Gun ever Chekoved. It's revisited in the break-up scene when the rain rehydrates all the garbage Megamind had dehydrated, including a stray cat that recovers instantly upon rehydration. Because it's a crucial aspect of Megamind both surviving the fall and getting the drop on Hal/Tighten, it's used frequently throughout the story (including Bernard and Carlos, Roxanne's doorman) - "hiding in plain sight". One aspect of the De-Gun I used to ponder was why Megamind never used the dehydration function on Hal/Tighten, but the answer is stealthily hidden in the newspapers during the opening sequence - that Metro Man's powers make him immune to gun. As Hal's powers came from Metro Man, Megamind assumed that Tighten would have the same immunity to the gun (as with the supposed weakness to copper). I Love this Movie that it might be My Favorite Film of All Time as I Love the Cast, the Villain, the Twist, the Animation, the Jokes, the Music,He Character, and the Message of Choosing your Part and Destiny,Not what Others make Us.
Now, regarding the cops shooting their guns in the air... that's SUPER-dangerous. Bullet goes up, and must eventually come down... at high speed. Firing blanks is safe, but blanks don't cycle semiautomatic firearms. Revolvers, though, will cycle because they don't rely on newton's law (I forget which one), but on the movement of the hammer.
Hi, Reel It In! You asked for suggestions and here they are: Prince of Egypt, Harry Potter, Memoirs of a Geisha, Back to the Future... They are very different films, but they are all great. I hope there's at least one of those you haven't watched yet, so it can be a first time watching. Not that I do not like movie commentaries, but you know, first times feel more exciting... By the way, I'm guessing that your channel is relatively new... If that's the case, good luck and keep up the great work! I've enjoyed this reaction and look forward to more :)
Megamind is a genius, but he's also dumb sometimes. Which is realistic in my opinion, because people who are reaaaally smart like genius level in their field can be surprisingly dumb outside of their speciality.
An underrated gem and my second favorite Will Ferrell along with my favorite of all time he's ever done the recent Christmas Musical Spirited (2022) which I recommend you watch for Christmas 2024🤞🏻🎥🎶🎄, also the top 3 movies I'd love to see you watch are Monsters Inc. (2001), City Slickers (1991) and Bedtime Stories (2008) 💕🎥🤣👏🏻

Space Dad talks like that because he's modeled after Marlon Brando from "Superman" '78. Also: HAPPY CHRISTMAS!
I can always count on you for the facts LMAO! That’s hilarious! Happy Christmas to you as well!
I love the Forget Me Stick.

Minion is the best villain sidekick ever 😀
