Hi, I do same job ,same issues with wipes and fat, cars over heavy manholes ;) . Your jet nozzle looks powerfull and efficient. You did great job. Staying until the night to get the job done was good action. I would have grunted and bitched but me either could not have left the people in the mess. I made a restaurant where I fished ladles, spoons, skimmers, cups. The manager came to see, I showed what I found then he caught all the employees to ask wtf. It appeared there was a manhole opened behind the building where employees were shamelessly pushing the stuff with brooms and water. They hated me XD. Please afford better gloves if you can.
I'm glad to know you. I'm even more glad you're doing the same thing as me. I heard that the cost of repairing buildings in foreign countries is very expensive. I envy you. Many people are curious about my cotton gloves. The reason why I use cotton gloves is because of grease. The clogging of sewage pipes in Korea is often due to grease. Rubber gloves are very slippery because of grease. You can't pull the high-pressure hose. I'm experimenting with a lot of gloves. Thank you for your advice, interest and love.
:) I see what you mean. Same here. The best gloves I have are Mapa Harpon 321. www.mapa-pro.fr/nos-gants/protection-etanche/page-produit/harpon-321 The texture increase the grip. The only problem is the more they grip, the more they are difficult to clean after work. But we know both there is nothing totally efficient with a jet hose coming back full of grease with a nozzle at full thrust resisting against you... I'm thinking to build a helping tool like a "wire puller" or a "cam cleat". And an other tool that will look a inverted U made with normal construction steel, welded. If I successfully build one of those three I will let you know.

I have always wondered if it would help if they wasted fresh water at all times at the furthest point in the septic system to reduce issues with low flow times and reduce chances of waste slowing down and settling.

I want to think so.
This is something people need to be educated on, it's not common sense. Most people aren't plumbers.
@@eldrich_commie Yeah, you'll realize as time goes by.
Our area has a campaign.
I hope people realize it late.
@@PlumberStory A campaign is perfect! The problem is it costs money and my country hates spending money on common sense ideas.

Are “grease-traps” used in your country? Here in the US most restaurants are required to have them.
In Korean restaurants, grease-traps is not obligatory.
I heard that foreign countries are obligated.
I think Korea should also make grease-traps mandatory.
I was wondering the same thing.
Yeah they definitely need grease traps or super fancy enzymes and bacteria that people market
the section to the restaurant was clean, the problem of wetwipes came from section 8 and 9
Most wet wipes are disinfectant thus killing a lot of the bacteria that would otherwise break down the grease
that stuff ur ladling out onto the sidewalks is like GOLD, I bet it left a heavenly O-Dor,

Hi,
I do same job ,same issues with wipes and fat, cars over heavy manholes ;) .
:)
I see what you mean. Same here.
The best gloves I have are Mapa Harpon 321.
www.mapa-pro.fr/nos-gants/protection-etanche/page-produit/harpon-321
The texture increase the grip.
GRAN TRABAJO!!!!👌👍👏👏❣❣

The job you guys do is not a job I think I could handle, at the end of the day though, you can go home and know that it's an honest days worth of work. How many professions can say that?
Great job...quick question though...does your country have grease traps that are supposed to catch the grease???
Great job boys.
Thank you for liking this video.
The best solution to avoid sewer blockages: use bidet sprayers to clean your behind instead of wipes.
I think that's the best way for a pipe condition.
What do you mean?
@@charlesrodriguez7984 I think it's a good way to keep your pipe healthy and in good condition.
Im very curious how many hours it takes to clean something like this
I think it took about 12 hours.
We didn't expect it to take this long either.
@@PlumberStory saw in another comment you haven’t been paid, is that still the case?
I wonder how long that grease has been sitting the pipes
Maybe a year or two.
good work
Thank you for leaving a comment without passing by.
Great work! I am curious as to where you get all of your water from?? Do you have a water tank with a pump or do you hook directly from a water hose??
Most jetters have between a 100 gallon tank up to 500 gallon tanks. Just a tailor you pull with the service van or box truck.
There's a water tank in our car.
We keep supplying water to the water tank.
Why are the manufacturers still allowed to label the wipes as flushable?
Please contact the manufacturer and let me know.
The answer is STUPID
.. BECAUSE YOU CAN FLUSH them without cloying up your 🚽... But they claim nothing about the actual PLUMBING OR CESS POOLS

I have always wondered if it would help if they wasted fresh water at all times at the furthest point in the septic system to reduce issues with low flow times and reduce chances of waste slowing down and settling.
It helps.
When washing dishes, it's like not stopping water from beginning to end.
A lot of water can reduce sewer blockage.

What a mess all that grease and wetwipes.
More and more people are using the toilet as a trash can.
Very nice job. How many kg of sludge did you haul away from this job?
We handled about 140 kilograms.
It wasn't as much as I thought.
So I guess it was grease that had my drain blocked, but holy cow that’s a lot of cheddar!

Is the coupler size the connection between the nozzle and the hose?
With the amount of fat coming out of these sewers, you could fuel a small power station! Wow that's a lot of fat!

Why is the sludge grey? What is it? Does that mean it’s very dirty?
It meets the air and turns gray as the water escapes.

Just curious, but that 8 inch sewer main seems awfully undersized to carry that much sanitary waste. All those buildings in that one street, 12 inch at minimum should have been laid in to help keep up with that type of dfu's.
I don't know much about the size of the pipes.
There's almost no slope of water here.
