You are a puppet created by Geppetto who’s caught in a web of lies with unimaginable monsters and untrustworthy figures standing between you and the events that have befallen the world of Lies of P.
You are awakened by a mysterious voice that guides you through the plagued city of Krat - a once lively place that has been poisoned by madness and bloodlust. In our soulslike, you must adapt yourself and your weapons to face untold horrors, untangle the unfathomable secrets of the city's elites and choose whether to confront predicaments with the truth or weave lies to overcome them on the journey to find yourself.

Lies of P really came out of nowhere but im so glad it did. game was a joy to beat. can’t wait for the eventual sequels/dlc
12:25 this speech after the fight is one of the most chilling moments in the game especially while he is fading out and warns us about Geppetto
I’m mad at the fact that apparently nobody noticed “ The Creation” moment from Michelangelo that is exactly what this all story is about.

Mad respect to these players, but I think part of the reason I suck at these games is I don't understand the hit boxes. At 3:51 the enemy's swing is clipping right through him.
Are you talking about i-frames? Every time you dodge or roll, you're invincible for a small amount of time. If you time it perfectly, you can avoid all damage from an attack. This is definitely a big part in all of Souls games
You should not touch a single souls game without knowing about s tbh :D

It's simple, you just need to Git gud that's all
it's less about visually getting hit and more about using dodges with built in windows of invincibility to ignore windows where an attack should hit you. it doesnt look amazing in most games but it's the only way fighting giant god beings, dragons, horrible creatures the size of buildings with a normal human sized character is really going to work out gameplay wise.

It is a mixture. The body is part puppet and mentally a puppet. It is the bad ending. Basically, the Geppeto tells his son to murder everyone wtihin the hotel.
its poetic if you think about it, in the real boy ending he becomes that, a real boy but obedient to all gepetto orders him to do, thus still making him a puppet. In the other ending however he refuses to become a real boy and remains as a puppet in body, but by making that choise making use of his free will all strings are removed from him. He becomes a real boy in spirit by gaining his freedom of choosing.

@@oscaka0073you can check IT with a cat in the krat hotel. If cat will first allow to be touched /later with higher humanity raised you by you- then youhave enough
the cat you can pet at the hotel, when you have enough humanity he will jump to your arms for petting instead of clawing you away. @@oscaka0073

They did, he was receiving the hand of God and was born again in that cutscene. The fact that the half that had touched the hand was one giant ergo creature was reminiscent of the idea that he’s born into the “image of god”

Yes. There are 3 endings. Bad, Good, and the Best one.
The real boy, to me, is when you refuse to give the heart, but also play the piano and able to make a musical. The piano part is to unlock the third one, but there is a spoiler there.

This guy got it wrong. You do not become the real boy. You are actually replaced. The replacement kills everyone in the hotel. Then Geppeto makes every human in the city a puppet copy. If you want the real boy, play the piano everyonce in the while and refuse to give your heart.

One of the easiest bosses in the game. First tried him with barley any effort.
Only hard if you get caught by the disruption attacks. They aren’t hard to dodge but it’s an instakill. Only way he ever killed me.

The blandness of every single bossfight of this game and the gameplay's utter banality are just unacceptable in 2023. Dark Souls had way better and far more interesting bossfights, and even tho the gameplay was clunky asf, Lies of P managed to create something worse with way better tech than what they had to create ds1

Out of all the games you pick dark souls 1. The game that has the most simplest boss designs. Half the bosses in dark souls 1 have like a max of 3-5 attacks. Normal elite enemies in lies of p have more complex attacks than dark souls 1.
