people talked a lot about Kimis partying but what really strikes me and moves me about this piece is how authentic a person he is, uninterested in superficiality. That is so rare these days and a much valued splendid quality about Kimi.
kimi raikkonen is hands down my idol. it's super rare to have someone as authentic and says it as it is as him. teaches you to do what's best for you and not care what others think:)
Going from F1 to Rallying to Nascar just to have fun with his brother and try out new stuff then come back to F1 to win another race. What a Legend. We miss you Kimi 😥.

Man, this is why people loves Kimi. He is a true personality that tell it like it is and keep it simple.
And you can tell he REALLY means it. At no point in his career he downplayed the cars he drove to look better himself, he acknowlodged his own mistakes and never said anything negative about the people beating him at the time. A lesson for many others.
There will never be another Raikonnen. Work horse that stayed consistent his entire career. I am so glad I was able to watch races before he retired, no matter what car he was in. We love Kimi stone cold Raikonnen.
2 years later and Kimi is still right, still the last Ferrari world champ.

@@brianmatenga6275 If you search for the best Kimi Raikkonen team radio, there was a race (2017? i don't remember..) than the engineers where push kimi's car to the pit lane start and him calling for his "gloves and steering wheel" because without that it was not able to start! A very funny moment.

I'm going to miss Kimi. He's such an iconic figure in F1... Steering wheel, gloves, drink, leave me alone, and some of the most amazing moves I've ever seen like lap one at Portimão. That was just pure magic.
he is iconic in the later stages of yis career but man in the 2000s he was scary fast. suzuka, monaco pole by half a second, istanbul quali and almost every single time he was in SPA it was magical.

For me Kimi will always be a part of my childhood; I started watching F1 when he was in his second McLaren season and witnessed all his victories.
I was a Jenson Button fan but besides Button's championship win and victories, the moment that gave me the most joy and satisfaction was seeing Kimi win the 2018 United States Grand Prix - and I wasn't expecting that. Made me realised how much a part of F1 he is in my view.
