With multiple trim levels to choose from, the Honda Odyssey has something for everyone including the right features and most importantly, the right price. The model in today’s video stickers at a price of $35,490.
2022 Honda Odyssey trim levels and their base prices are as follows.
LX - $32,090
EX - $35,490
Ex-L - $38,760
Touring - $42,800
Elite - $47,820
The Odyssey does not currently offer all-wheel drive, instead coming with standard front-wheel drive.
Under the hood is the strong 3.5 liter V6 producing 280 horsepower and 262-pound feet of torque. The engine is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission with overdrive and automatic manual capability.
One of the brightest features that are a standard on the Odyssey is the ability to remove the middle row seats. While this chore does require some muscle, it greatly increases interior cargo space, especially when paired with the stowing magic rear seats.
There is no doubt to the fact that the Honda Odyssey at any trim level is a great family or work van.

My experience, as limited as it is on a short test drive, shows me the transmission is smooth as it shifts and does not seem to have any issues. Shifts seemed to be timely as well. I cannot say if there would be any differences with additional passengers, cargo, or a trailer being towed.

I can't really blame Honda for deleting HondaVac. Nobody could foresee the demise of Shopvac. Hopefully Honda brings it back, but I know it may take some time for Honda to find a new supplier. Maybe when the Odyssey gets a 6th gen.
