I prefer my KTM 1290 because ive turned it into a supermoto adventure bike, which is the type of rider I am.
However, for your type of riding, the type of person you are, your lifestyle, and for us viewers BEGGING for more of your bike porn, I believe this Ducati is THE best bike for you. No question, hands down. You need this bike bro, it will suit you far better than the KTM. I'll even donate to your patreon if you set one up. LET'S GOOOOOO!!!

Went from a gen2 SDR to a gen3 SDR, and it's two different worlds 👌 the handling/turning is a huge change 👌 comparing the 2020 SFV4 to a facelifted 2014 SDR just don't make sense, so you need try the gen3, and btw it wheelies just as much/fast/long as you want it to 😜

I own this same bike. You CAN Turn off the wheelie control !
Gotta go deeper in settings menu.
Race mode,Traction control on lowest or off,Wheelie control off...
    Yeeow!
My friend has a Aprilia Tuono (which i have ridden), it's a great bike!

I recently purchased a 2021 dark stealth V4 S to compliment my 2017 Panigale 1299 S ,I will NEVER sell the 1299. YES my complaint is, same as you, can't get the front wheel up more the 2 - 3 feet with wheelie control on # 1. I think the counter rotating crank has a lot too do with it. Had Akra complete exhaust with MAP upgrade installed prior to delivery on both . The S. F. exhaust at an idle is so mellow, idle on 2 cylinders when warmed up, as soon as you let the clutch out the other two cylinder activate. Upper RPM'S sound ANGRY, Can't explain it.. You can turn the wheelie control off BUT it also turns off ALL anti lock brakes. @ 150 + hang on for dear life, the wind wants too rip you of the bike. At high speeds I prefer the Panigale 1299 S . The S.F is a far more forgiving bike too ride then 1299 lets you know, it will chew you up and spit you out IF you dont respect it. Just one old mans opinion. TRY to ride safe guys..

But it is $20Gs! That is simply off the chart cost plus the additional mods. For an everyday commuter and backroad play-thing it is too much. Especially when you can have like performance from other bikes. BUT love your channel, style, and content. Keep them videos coming.

I am looking for help before going to dealership.
I have noticed after the winter break that my Ducati SF has distinctive whining noise while riding. Whining noise is most apparent when riding approx at 5-6k RPM range. It becomes annoying when riding long distance or example 95km/h then whining noise is most apparent. It has not progressed to louder volume and perhaps it is my own hearing. I don't remember if I heard this sound last year or not. Worth to point out that Noise is the same regardless of the gear. First gear 5k RPM whining noise is exactly the same as fourth, fifth or sixth.
Has anyone else encountered such noise? Is this normal or should this thing be checked out?
Bike has been serviced properly!!! ODO is 7100km

21:16 I feel like the only thing you're missing out on is wheelies. It already pulls the wheel if things aren't perfect. I wish they had unlocked it a little more, such that you can lift the wheel at-will in the first three gears, but maybe not so much that it's an instant loop if you goose the throttle in 1st or 2nd at 12.5KRPM... which is what I expect it would be if it were completely unlimited.

I had the KTM SDR1290 and it was great for a year or 2 then it just fell to bits and the clutch exploded at 16k miles! So then on to the Aprilia tuono v4 1100 Factory 2018. Amazing bike. Better than the KTM in every single way. Now I was waiting for the Ducati Street Fighter S. Then see they were bringing out the new 2021 Tuono so thought id hold fire on the Ducati SFS to give the 21 Tuono a go. I was disappointed with the cheap Chinese feel of the new Tuono. My 2018 felt alot more premium. Then it's the same frame and power so was a no brainer going for the Ducati. As you say its a premium bit of kit. The quality of the thing is of stuff other manufacturers could only dream of. I wanted the S though as I wanted the best suspension on the market. The 21 Ducati Street Fighter S has the peak torque 2k lower in the rev range so that actually makes for a faster bike with more punch than the 2020 Ducati. I hope to get the bike next month for the new registration here in the UK. Really can't wait.

Will NEVER part with my 2017 Panigale 1299 S, 21,000 miles in 1.5 years of riding. Want the upright seating of the super naked. The S.F. will have the Akra race exhaust and MAP upgrade , BEFORE delivery. Never enough power for me lol. The 1299 is my everyday transportation and weekend track bike. Hope the S.F. will be as dependable as the 1299.. OH, I'm just shy of 72 !! Street riding since 16, racing since 14.. Ride safe guys.

Ducati streetfighter v4 is a great bike and really fast no doubt, but the Aprilia Tuono factory ...not even close?????????????? The more horse power of the Ducati doesn't make it better believe me ....The way the Tuono delivers the power down and the handling in the middle corner it makes it remain the best naked bike out there........and lets wait the 2021 model..!!!! Speaking of the Tuono sound........mozart is still alive!!

Not just the electronics, but the chassis itself is designed not to wheelie. When I test road one, I had to turn off EVERYTHING to get that thing to wheelie lol.

You do know it has more than 3 gears,1100cc with power everywhere and your not even showing us what the motor can do at all revs in all gears, most riders would not be in 2nd most of the time and 4th on the highway ,its all to frantic and unnecessary. Ive ridden one and it can be docile if you want it to be.

I will echo everyone else who has suggested the KTM SD 3.0, make sure you test it before committing to the Streetfighter, its better.

Tried it, the gen 3 is not even better than the Tuono. It’s good at crazy wheelies on straights but it’s damn near dangerous in the corners as you need to wrestle it when you want to be fast.

Issue with these types of reviews is that it's always based on first impressions (honeymoon effect) and only judges it based on its performance at the limit. Being a naked bike it also needs an element of versatility, daily useability etc and at its price point it doesn't have a fuel gauge, cruise control etc which is off putting. Also when I rode it I found its personality too close to the Panigale, may as well get that instead. Fun factor and the giggle factor also need to be a factor with bikes like these otherwise if you were purely after speed you would just get a supersport.
Also in my country, just like the Panigale, they are becoming clit*ris bikes - ever C*nt has one 😂. Excellent bike though if purely judging on race style performance!
