My first college football game as a student was ISU beating Iowa on field goals in '07, my last game as a student was beating Oklahoma State on a friday night in November.

I agree with you on Ferentz there. However, Ferentz takes walk-ons and two star kids and puts them in the pros. I think Iowa is in the top 5 when it comes to players in NFL only behind Alabama, Notre Dame and Florida. That's pretty good company. However, yes I think the Hawkeye Nation agree that Ferentz needs to get some things done this year or else. We can't handle another 6 and 6 season.

Everyone outside of Ames and Tuscaloosa was rooting for Oklahoma State. They’ve never won a national title, the loss resulted in a historically great LSU team having to replay the hardest game on their schedule, and they had their women’s basketball coaches die in a plane crash that morning.
I was there it was amazing and some people say it was the bball coach that died was the problem for losing well excuses when there were up at half and all of a sudden at the end they started to think of it bs but I am sorry for their lose

Lets face it, its hard to recruit anyone to come play in Iowa. Ferentz has kids wanting to play for him because he sends about 8 to the NFL each year...Rhodes doesn't have that yet.

Coach Paul Rhoads is still building on what is a great start to his head coaching career.Let me list some facts: 2 bowls in his first 3 seasons, after ISU had 5 combined wins the previous 2 seasons he won 7 his first year with basically the same players ,and this year they won 6 games when they were favored in only two of them. Iowa State may not be a great team but they are getting better.
