Good stuff bro. I bought a 2012 CC back in 2014. My babe has been running smooth with no mechanical headaches to this day, 2022. The most I've spent on is decarbon since it's a TSI engine and some water pump issue that was covered by my warranty. Fkn love my CC. Ive tuned it, raced it, picked up Hella girls with it, but my car is old now at 189,000 miles it's FINALLY starting to show signs of mechanical ware. I've always changed the oil myself at 3K, routine spark and ignition coil change, premium gasoline always. I'm finally thinking of trading her in. Either for a 2013 CC to relive my memories or I might move on to an Aerteon RLine. Fantastic review man, you really captured the day-to-day wonderful soul of this magnificent car.

I bought this car for $1000 with a blown engine. Absolutely not😩 I have the 2010 cc sport, not sure if it’s because it’s old but I got it at 93k miles last June, it’ll be a year in a week I think. I’m at 99k miles now btw. Spent 2k the second month on it. The car kept turning off in drive by its self. The mechanic found an accumulation of problems that i don’t remember what they are. It was a traumatic time so the memories are fading 🤦🏽♀️ And the water pump broke a back in March as well as alternator going out too and spent to fix that on that. The fucking gas literally runs out SO FUCKING FAST it’s absolutely ridiculous. My mom has the Toyota Sequoia v8 which has a miserably 14 mpg and it feels like my mpg is lower than hers. Something also happened in which the oil started leaking out of nowhere & I had to carry around bottles of car oil and refill constantly, till I was able to get that fixed. That still gives me PTSD. Every mechanic I’ve taken this car to has told me this model was an experimental model which kinda worked out enough for the manufacturers to sell and it’s honestly just a car that should be driven here & there. Parts are so difficult to find & most things are made out of plastic and not good quality. I agree with that. The interior is beautiful though, I have this same interior design & everyone loves it, and it drives well too. Mainly got the car because it was the only decent car with leather seats within my budget. My car personally doesn’t drive that smoothly but it’s a very fun ride & I always miss it when driving other cars. To top it all off, this shit takes premium gas. It takes about 90$ to fill it up when gas was like $4.70. Gas is $6 at the moment. Upon research and before purchasing, I knew things would start going wrong after about 90k but like DAMN!
