@@ghadael-barbari1884 Hmm… If you knit the rib collar, yes you can knit the same shape as this pattern. But if you just buy the rib, I don’t think you have a choice. When you order the rib for your production, you just give the mill the length and the mill knits. Mostly it’s just rectangular.
Could you please explain why you don't add the extension measurement? I follow your instruction for measuring back neck and front neck measurement without adding the extension (my extension is 1" width). When I was constructing my collar, it was 1" short each side. (so my collar is 2" short in total.) Thank you.
Hi Shulin, extension is added from the center front for buttons. The collar will finish at the center front both sides. When you button up, the collar end will meet each other at the center front. If the collar finishes at the end of the front body, when you button up, the collar will be overlap. Make sense?
Hi, you measure the increments of the back neck length and front neck length, and apply the same amount to the collar. I'll make a video on that later.
Thank you for this easy-to-follow tutorial! I had great results with this 😊
Amazing 🤩 Thank you for letting me know!
This video I think just fixed my aviator style jacket's collar issue! I was wayyy over complicating it by looking at lapelle collars lol.
I love "simple" but still great 👍
Another wonderful tutorial. love the Top you are wearing. Can you please show how to make it?
Thank you! I'll make a chance to show you the pattern making of the blouse I'm wearing.
Wonderful video again on these different collars! Can’t wait for your next video!!
Hi Nora, thank you so much for watching!!
Thank you for this vidoe. Can I use this collar pattern for making '' Rib Collar " for polo shirts ?!

Great video, What are the measurements needed in drafting the convertible collar?
Hi Cadel, thanks for watching. You need front neck & back neck measurements from your body patterns for drafting the collar patterns.

@@PatternStudio101 Thank you very much for your explanation. That makes sense.
