Yeah totally agree used is preferable. But it needs to make sense financially and sadly it does not yet. We just got a new rwd lr MY after looking at used for months because of the promo 0.99% rate and federal + state incentives it was cheaper to get new. But hey at least there are used Tesla's. How many years till there is a decent used market with R2's, R3's, Telo's, Aptera's. ? That is in my mind when the transition to EV's can be considered successful. When I can find someone selling their 10-20year old aptera on Facebook market place or craigslist still running. I can't wait for those days but I will probably still be getting a new aptera as soon as possible. 😅

I do like the Rivian but I see no advantage over the existing EVs available today!
