Hey, just watched this, here is the answer to why they speak English in rebels: the charter is a encryption method where the person speaks and it changes it to a different language and the sensors on the inside of the helmet translate it back to English. And in rebels we see them operating with normal troops so they can only talk in English.

I have one of those small speakers like yours,which I use for my Imp Gunner Costume. The headset mic that came with it is a bit cheap n cheerful and looking to an upgrade like the bluetooth one you have,mounted inside the helmet. With my current setup,the volume is determined only by the speaker,so I'm guessing with the bluetooth mic you'd have to adjust both that and the speaker volume to find the sweet spot?
I suppose you can adjust from both. But TBH I have the head mic set to the middle setting and then leave it as it is. As you don’t want it too responsive. I then simply adjust on the speaker only.

@Valiant_Thor_03 you don't have to be a little short for a stormtroopers, if you have the equipment and the time go for it!

Sadly the guy who was producing these was in Russia. He left when the war started with the Ukraine and hasn’t resurfaced. He was a great builder.
