How long you can wait and how long you can invest? Index funds can give around 15 % but there are numerous Small and Midcap funds which are giving around 18-20% consistently.

If Market performs as now after 6 years your investment will be doubled but try to Hold for 8-10 years because most surely it will double.
6 years is less time for Equity.. as of now due to small investors markets keep going up. But within December I think 4 states elections coming. Market may go down.. if u have plans to invest longterm then invest only in midcap, Emerging, small and nasdaq . Never choose theme or sectral or largecap funds.. ignore others funds . Only concentrate in equity. If u plan to invest top much go with financial advisor
