That was because the monster truck frames came off of an S+15 truck instead of a full size truck. So the parts on the frame were different. But ol MacGyver made it all work.

The Big Air Bel Air was a peg warmer so I picked up one or two every time I visited Wally World. I knew the wheels would come in handy I've converted 8 monster trucks with the Bel Airs. 1 Ford 1 Dodge And the rest were Chevy and GMC. Plus one was an S-10 I think that's gonna be it on the Bel Airs. I haven't seen anymore in the stores. I'll have to use some other casting for the wheels now. Glad you like the Camaros I definitely like wide tires the Black 67 came with wide tires so I had to add them to the Red 67. Both of the 69s came with wide tires. I've put the super Wides on several of my castings. Including some mainline hotwheels.

With that being said I will look tomorrow to see what color rims are on my monster truck Bel Air and thank you for the shout out. I did run out Saturday morning, but had no luck with finding anything to help you fill a rack. That's cool you found a couple of the stars and stripes and the anniversary set, I have seen a few stragglers on both sets here and there but I haven't picked any of them up. The rig is looking good brother, You did an excellent job and it is a perfect O'reilly's truck. I will let you know tomorrow what set of wheels are on my big air Bel Air, until then have a good evening brother
@@davidbeeson1178 okay I just talking it Jason at Diecast Carnut and he has the one with the orange on the rims. That number 2 of 8. So if you see a hole in the metal base at the back. It's number 7.of 8. If it doesn't then. I'd say you have number 4 or 5. When you get a chance mark it # 3 of 8.

@@blinddiecast well. You keep it and someday you'll be Customizing stuff. I've only been doing custom work on diecast for about 5 years and I still have a lot to learn I've mounted wheels on in several different ways so I'm still learning different ways to.
